It is Miles' fault they complain. Before you bash, let me explain. Miles has really kept LSU an elite program and because of this if we don't win the NCG every year and blow every opponent out by 30 Miles is an idiot, blah, blah.
The fan base has gotten drunk on the success and demands it every season. Reality says there will be injuries, dismissals, bad breaks, etc. that prevent a team from reaching that goal.
Most certainly. My brother-in-law is a huge OSU fan and he even complained this year.
I have friends that are TAMU fans who complain and believe it or not the Mizzou fan base here in St. Louis thought they were going to rule the SEC with their "unique" offense.
Miles has made some mistakes but he is in good company because every coach does. LSU is enjoying a great era of football right now but it will be cyclical. Miles needs to address the offense and I hope he does. If not, then I do fear we are headed for some bad days.
However, win or lose, I fly the flag and wear the colors.

Not gonna happen. Get ready for a year of predicting/wishing for 8-4 so some of these "fans" can finally be right about Miles.
Can't win with the pumpers. If someone predicts 11 wins, the pumpers will be all over their arse for expectations that are too high.

What is there to be positive about? We lost to Bama, Fla and got humiliated in the Chicken Bowl and now we have mass defections of our players. Add to that our goofy coach tricked out even goofier AD into giving him an extension and raise fraudulently?
The LSU run is over thanks to Les Miles. My love for LSU is not diminished but have lost all confidence in Miles and Alleva.
Remember how much we loved Dinardo and then the wins stopped? Just watch next year...a replay of this year on ffense and no defense....

A more appropriate conceptualization of the fans that aren't entirely supportive of Miles would be to state that they wish that Miles would address the obvious issues that exist and are afraid that if they are not addressed, the results might be an 8-4ish type season. To think that people want Miles gone is inaccurate. What people want is for him to fix what's obviously broken.
This X infinity

How about we stop wasting board space complaining about other posters and use it to respond/rebut negative posts with whatever facts you think negate their argument.
Miles has recruited well, but he is recruiting for a top 5 program in terms of finances, facilities and available talent pool. His recruiting is what should be expected at a program with LSU's advantages. He wins 80% of his games, again as he should with a top 5 program. Any coach who can't do that at LSU should be fired because LSU deserves a top flight coach for its top flight program.
However, he is a terrible game manager. Remember him trying to call time out during a change of possession during his first year? Bo Pelini had to race down the sidelines to stop him from wasting a timeout.
His success depends almost entirely on the quality of his coordinators. He seems to realize this with the defense, but hasn't accepted that on offense. That is a serious shortcoming that keeps LSU from reaching its full potential.
OK. Rebut that with facts or persuasive argument.

frick up at your job (if you are old enough to have one) and see how long your employer accepts the "we are human, we all make mistakes" shite.

Wrong, I know lots of people who want him gone. They hate him for simply being the coach of LSU.
Just because some people want him gone doesn't mean that everyone who wants him to do something about the offense wants him gone. I want miles to stay but the FACT is there is a glaring problem with coaching on the offensive side of the ball that he needs to address. Anyone who denies this is out of their minds.

Absolutely. Most of us who want the offense improved like the guy. If we wanted him gone, we would want the offense to stay shitty.
People wanting offensive changes like the HC. Some of you pumpers need to get out or your protectionist mode and try to realize this.

This. That's all I am asking for. If the guy doesn't realize that his offense is a failure then he should be criticized.

LSU fans really don't deserve Coach Miles.

I'm with you, dude. I really hate LSU fans. I'm probably the only LSU fan that I like, and, I don't even really like myself. I just tolerate myself.
All other LSU fans -- I hate them.

I reserve the right to call LSU out when they are heading in the wrong direction. All of you Miles "kool aid drinkers" can sit with your delusional selfs and just watch one of the premier powers in college football melt into becoming a second rate power.
And say nothing ? I hardly think so.
I know Coach Miles personal and like him a lot but he is in way over his head.

10-3 record and still
It’s not a 10-3 record. It’s how this team ended up with three losses. It's call seeing the game within the game. You can't see for settling for less..no pun intended.
UF- no damn imagination with the offense at all. Don’t give me the injury excuse. Had the win in hand and could not get out of his on stupid way.
Gumps- Every member of this board knows there is not a player on this team that can kick a 54 yard FG. Not even Kelly would attempt a fake FG with 12 yards to go for a first against a damn good team as the gumps. You dance with the one that brung you. Your QB is hot as a firecracker and you take the game out of his hands and run the ball up the middle.
Clemsuck- Nuff said

The problem is that all these negative loving people don't remember the program at all back then.
