How do you figure I'm trolling?

We have a guy with 3 career SEC wins as a permanent head coach and shite overall record.

Sure, be excited about aranda and Canada, but how can someone say they're excited to have O as a head coach?

Our fan base is so fricking stupid. We better hope he can keep up the good coordinator hires and sticks to the de line.

We are a top 5-10 program in the country and our dumbass AD hires Ed O....fricking stupid.

Saban was only at LSU for 5 short years.

and did what miles did in less than half the time.

3 of those five years he went 8-4, 8-5, 9-3.

he had to rebuild a damn program that dinardo messed up. so from 3-8 to 8-4 was bad? WOW. 9-3? let's use some perspective here. LSU easily could have been 11-1 that year. We got screwed at Auburn on that XP at end of game. Saban mailed it in at the CAp one bowl game. If u want to say we were lucky to win the oregon State game then fair enough but that team shoulda had at least 10 wins had nick not checked out and refs screw us on the plains. Remember they only played 11 regular season games that year NOT 12.

quote:

That 8-5 season at LSU folks wanted him fired.

That is complete and utter BS. he won the SEC the year before way ahead of schedule. He came a fluke play away (miracle on markham) from winning the west that year and almost making it back to back to back west titles.

quote:

Most of you are too damn young to remember that though.

I have been going to games for decades. You are FOS. nobody with any football sense wanted him fired.

Anyone but O.

I'd rather Fedora over O. At least he's been successful at his stops and has shown he can develop players/QBs. Him with Aranda would be nice.

Herman would have been better too. At least he can run one side of the ball and recruit too. He was recruiting well at Houston. Even beat us out for a player or 2. O hasn't even called his own defenses before.

Look, I think he's made a lot of good moves since he's become HC, and I wish the man nothing but the best. That said, the hire was horrible.

Coach O WILL do better AT LSU than Herman will do at Texas...

You must have long term memory loss. The season where Marcus Randall was quarterback was even harder to watch than the season Anthony Jennings was QB. Plenty wanted Saban fired after going 8-5. It's well documented. Take the blinders off.

:

yeah after mauck got hurt we STILL came a fluke play away from winning the west with randall.

Saban was not about to get fired. just stop.

I spoke with Randall's tutors at the cotton bowl in 2002. they said he was dumb. Their words not mine. But GOD bless him, he had heart! So the fact we still were a fluke play away from winning the west with him is a testament to jimbo and saban.

Well, we all.know how your predictions go.

So, that means UT will win a championship in 3 years and O will average 3 SEC wins a year.

Idiot.

People forget that Matt Mauck was one of the best QB's in the sec till Saban didn't tank him out of the UF game when needed.

Etling is not Mauck. Nowhere near.

The SEC west was about as dominant as the SWAC in those years. The SEC East ruled the conference and most of us with any type of college football knowledge knows this.

By saying "we almost won the SEC West" looks really bad. Really really bad, that side of the conference in those years were not very competitive.

Your knowledge is shown every time you make a prediction.

And they're always wrong.

You know more about nothing. That's about it. Your intelligence shows in your post that read as if someone with DS typed it.

look we all know this is your indirect way to support miles and bash saban. but you are making yourself look silly with no perspective, rationality or objectivity.

OH YES THE SEC SUCKED SO SABAN SUCKED or was it average? you keep moving the goalposts so much when the facts taken in context and detail do not go your way

You can't wrap your head around that 8-5, 8-4, 9-3 season can you?

It doesn't take a scientist to go back and remember that the SEC west was average in those years.

Saban isn't the same coach now as he was then. The proof is in the pudding. Just like he wasn't the same coach at Michigan state.

Dinardo beat Saban like a drum in the independence bowl. How times change.

Happy to enlighten you with facts.
