but i'm talking about any coach....except for maybe Nick Saban. i don't think he ever lied or was evasive or made veiled comments that were not truthful.

the water boy at qb would have been better than the miserable attempt at playing qb that we got

Agreed. There should have been a plan B.

I really don't want to get into a NS vs LM pissing match, because that wasn't my main point, but Les communication style and poor public persona really leave him open for a lot of these attacks he's taking, but again with this he also refuses to change.

He has changed, look how offense has revolved around players running it. From pass happy with JR/Flynn to ultra conservative with JJ/Lee.
Les will alter the offense again with Mett back there

funny...the media loves him. its LSU fans that are simply unreasonable and idiots like Finebaum and Guilbeau feed off that shite

not true...unless you're specifically talking about last years QB situation....which i am no longer discussing

Again, Miles waits for that turnover, the big play, or the drive to change the momentum but instead of waiting, he should take action early in the game to cause those things to happen.

The OP already stated that Mett was available. Not only was he available, but was 3rd string. Behind JJ and JL (who obviously wasn't trusted).

3rd STRING

Think on that long and hard, and see why some of us expect no changes

And what is the kicker is no one can deny that if JJ miraculously had another year, he would be the starter and we'd watch him suck in the spring game and Mile's would make the exact fricking statement.

If JJ had eligibility, he would absolutely be starting over Mett.

Was he the most efficient QB after 11/5?

Exactly THIRD string with little (might as well say none consider opponent that day) actual game experience and people were wanting him in biggest game of year?
He sat behind two seniors, if he has more talent than them he wouldn't be first younger, more talented player to actually sit behind upper classmen and he won't be last.
The LSU coaches have an entire off season now to implement a offense that plus to strengths of Mett rather than try to make it up as they go.

"I think Jordan Jefferson has had the best spring he's had since he's been here," Miles said of his quarterback during the SEC's spring football teleconference on Wednesday. "He gets it out of his hand so quickly. He goes through the reads and progressions. There's much less hesitation in the decision-making process."

This is so far from the truth it is hilarious and sad all at once.

Choctaw, as soon as Les Miles spouts out some nondescript answer you post, "You see there guys, Coach just said _____." However, when someone points out all the lies, excuse me, "deceptively honest" responses, that Miles has stated in the past, you claim that all coaches lie.

I'll say this about Saban, he never lied about his team's performance. If the question was related to the game, he'd tell you what happened. Some say that's throwing a player under the bus (Ronnie Prude), others say it's holding players accountable. Remember after the Flordia game in 2000, Saban said his players had the "brook trout look". Yesterday, Les Miles assured us that his players practiced hard, and played hard for 60 minutes, even though we all saw otherwise. The only thing Saban ever lied about was his own job status/inquiries.

When Lee was at QB, the offense did just that by scoring on the 1st or 2nd drive in pretty much every game until Bama.

Against 5 ranked teams
Against 5 SEC teams
Against a conference champion
Against 2 BCS bowl champions
Against 4 teams on the road

And only trailed for 6 minutes in total

Why Miles desired to revert back to 2010 form is just baffling

correct again, any other coach would have been in a 2 minute drill with their passing QB. we got blownout anyways who cares if it leads to a couple turnovers? we had nothing to lose at that point. and then we punt?? that is GIVING up. you go for it always. it shows you are trying to win or at least score even late. it was a terrible job of coaching. go down swinging. we did not even do that.

everyone says JJ had no time or no open receivers. complete baloney.

i posted the link showing he had open receivers deep and he had time with bama's mush rush intended to stop him from running through the gaps.
