Read the whole thing and agree on all except hating the Tigers at any point. I did love the Saints before watching college football though.

The freshman class being so ridiculously talented makes the wait a lot worse than it should be.

Thanks for your post, I enjoyed it and agree we have much to be excited about as fans. I can't stop thinking about the impact LF will have for LSU and Brandon Cooks for the Saints....I might go crazy if the season doesn't start soon

All I can say is let the season play out. I agree with most of what you said about the team. Just mellow out and just lose sleep when we get beat. I think this team can make a run and you can rest easy.

Luckily, we know exactly when it will start.

Good Lord...

Why do you people take all of this so seriously?

Thanks, for the correction.

I tried to go back and see if there were any recent teams, that were championship caliber, that were littered with freshman.

I came up with 2003 USC team. Reggie Bush, Lendale White, Lineart and Steve Smith (NYG) were all contributing freshman. They took their share of a title, won one, and had to be out done by all time performance from Vince Young to lose another.

My point is, young talent can contribute. I think we are in position to rival the fab 5 of basketball.

You forgot that this may be our best OL ever.

I share your excitement for this season and multiple championships. Grimes and Cam are the difference makers. I believe our O will be more balanced than ever and we are becoming QBU.

What shocks me about Harris is how quick his 7 step drop is and how well he throws the deep ball to the corners. Not to mention his sense of pressure in the pocket and ability to extend plays. Throw in LF with play action fakes and I don't see how opposing safeties are going to be able to cover our WRs AND TEs.

Recruits with NFL skills know where the best collegiate coaches are. This is the best set of offensive minds we have ever had.

This will not be a roller-coaster ride once these freshmen gain some experience. This is becoming a bullet train. A healthy Harris and a 8-12 plays will determine if we compete for NC or finish 2/3 in the west.

Thanks to Alleva for insisting that we replace Stud as OC and hire Cam.

Similarities but on opposite sides.

Grew up in Baton Rouge. Huge LSU fan, tolerated the Saints at most.

I continue to love the Tigers but LOATH the Saints and wish them to lose every game. Really started with the bad blood that the Benson showed while his team played in Tiger Stadium. Manifested into hatred with the Saint's actively using their coaching staff to aid Bama against LSU. If they lose every game for the next decade and file Chapter 11, move to Mexico City to become a 1 team conference in the next USFL it wouldn't be good enough for me. Screw 'em from head office to water boy.

I was rumored that Greg Williams helped Saban breakdown the offense.

Some of you people are way too invested in this game. Sounds kinda queer you are up all night thinking about the bodies of young athletes.

Kid grew up in the projects, cut him a break. Hell I drove through the projects once and could not come up anything as impressive as his post
