I'm pretty sure a lot of luck had to do with the 9-6 score. Didn't the kicker with massive arms miss like 3-4 field goals?
"luck" or stupid coaching by Nick Saban to kick the field goals knowing he had a guy that sucked kicking field goals?
Is there anything yall try to not discredit. Even wins over Alabama?

I'll repost what I said in another thread.
Really? Do you think it could possibly be the inability of our football team to complete a forward pass in an age where freshman QB's are winning Heismans and routinely throwing for 300+ a game?
Could it possibly be our inability to put teams away when we have the lead due to our "playing not to lose" mindset, thus wins actually feel like losses when the game is over?
Or no way it could be our willingness to keep the same game plan against a team that has superior players and coaches, and has owned us the last 5 years, with absolutely nothing to suggest it will change?
Nope, it must be the fans.

That's your opinion, mine differs

That post explains reason and that lack thereof of the "fire him now" crowd. The "Fire him now" crowd remind me of the liberals who want to take guns away from everyone to prevent crime. Statistics show that doesnt work, just as firing a winning coach usually doesnt help the situation. LSU was the exception to the rule when Saban Left. USC, Texas, Miami, Tennessee, Nebraska, hell Tulane, Alabama are all the rule.
We are firing him because he's just really not that good. He's had plenty of help from his stellar defensive coaches, but he himself is a horrible game day coach and his team always looks unfocused and unprepared. He lacks the want to adjust during the game. Believe it or not, we've won despite him and not because of him. The truth hurts but its time to move on.

This is all Skip Bertmans fault. If he would have just hired Jimbo we would probably have 3 or 4 NC's over the last 11 years
Yes, that is a realistic way of thinking

Rantards are so panic stricken that we must fire the guy now, even without anybody really on the market to replace him
Most coaching jobs are filled by guys who weren't on the market at the time.
Besides, who says you have to be available to fill another job?

An yes the blame he fans approach instead of the 4 million dollar coach. Sorry to bust your bubble but it's been done before.
Man we got a bunch of scholars posting here.

I am so torn on this. I am extremely frustrated watching the games but understand that the reason we have the stud talent is bc of Miles.

I'll post another fun stat:
Someone please tell me that this is acceptable at a supposed "powerhouse" program that has the NFL littered with offensive players.
Sorry, but that stat is inexcusable.

this board was full on the "fire Miles" train after 09 and after last year
the media never paid any attention because we are just fans
the media picked it up when people from inside LSU starting leaking that Les was in trouble

That is exactly where the blindness of the sunshine pumpers is exposed. I am not of the "fire him now" crowd. I am of the "fire him a long time ago" crowd.

Another idiotic thing to say? Does it hurt you to think?

you mean everyone that wants common sense gun control (like the gun show loop hole allowing mentally ill people and ex cons to buy guns) suddenly becomes a "liberal" and want to take away your duck shotgun.
you probably need to eliminate politics and your bias from these sports analogies man.

Agree. But then, maybe Miles and Alleva are the real owners of TD....
