Miles is the best LSU can get.

No he isn't. Remember, it was LSU that brought Nick Saban into the SEC. Those days are over, but in the present and in the future, Les Miles is not the best LSU can hope to get.

If you can't stop an expected fake punt then I'd say you were pretty badly prepared.

Maybe, Bama designed a better fake and executed it. After all, it was a reverse that was very similar to the DeAngelo Peterson play in 2010. And still, we held it to 4 yards, just that was 2 too many. If Mosley keeps it, we probably stop him short.

Deal with it... Miles is the best LSU can get.

That's exactly the kind of defeatist attitude that will keep LSU playing 2nd fiddle to Bama forever.

He might've been the best we could get at the time, but not anymore. I remember when I heard that he was LSU's choice for Saban's replacement. My heart just sank.

At the very least, Miles needs to get rid of Coach Fat arse and Ensminger in the off season. If we don't win our bowl game, regardless of how shitty it is, the rumbling's gonna get a lot louder than just on a message board.

That's where Miles fails. He has too many weak links on that staff that aren't very good at developing the athletes they have. That's why you see the contant and repetitive mental mistakes. Poor preperation. The proof's in the pudding as I like to say all too often. What you see is what you get.

And that statement is what tells the whole tale.

That's where excels. If you can't technically coach your position to a very high degree and prepare your position athletes, you aint coaching for Nick Saban. He has zero tolerance for assistants that are weak football teachers.

What you need are great teaching coaches that can develop and get the most out of the talent that's on the roster. If they happen to be good recruiters then great, but that shouldn't be the promary reason they're hired.

High school recruits want to win Championships and it's the great teaching coaches that produce athletes who make few mental mistakes, which in turn lead to championships. It aint Rocket Science.

I've said for years LSU has won on sheer talent alone and not on developed players. Very well stated BRAVEHEART.
