Poche should have been out of this mess with no runs or just one run.

Two runs come thanks to two easy outs on four pitches that should have ended a quick inning. Nope. All downhill from there.

That's not on the coaches. Poche apparently got out is the fifth twice, but nope. That's on the players, just like in 2013.

Five unearned runs on EASY plays. CPM made the right choice, our players just choked..... AGAIN

TBH you're probably right, but Poche should have been pulled earlier

Wow there bud.
Our fans can NEVER blame players.

Only coaches can be blamed. Of course they never get credit for winning ........

Strange how it works.

Poche mentally pulled himself after those 2 errors, and Hale followed suit there for that play.

But they can't choke: they deserve to be there.

If we only score 1 run, it doesn't matter if Poche started, made 10 errors, or got pulled 4 batters earlier.

They ain't that good. Very overrated compared to past champions. Armando Rios would be the power on the this team.

A pitcher with an arm all amped up from pitching shouldn't try to make an overhand throw to first when he had plenty of time to run over and underhand it..

Coming here to say relatively the same thing.

I'm tired of our players losing their balls when we get to Omaha. Seems to have happened the past few times.

This is Omaha. You are LSU. Play your butts off.

Agree partially, except it was CPM who didn't start our ace because he was "saving" him, and CPM left Poche in way too long----Scivicque was openly begging CPM to get him out of the game back when the game was closer.

Not when he has the other team grounding into EASY outs. These are little league plays we are choking up, not screaming line drives.

We have given TCU nearly two extra innings already due to star players unable to make basic plays. It doesn't get easier than this, folks. Those plays are simple plays. This is like fumbling the snap over and over in football and losing. Simple...

Coaches can only do so much and preach so much. The players are not little league players. Hell 8 of the starting 9 were drafted. Blame the coach all you want but other than leaving Poche in a little long it's on the playerd
