Spencer Ware played QB in HS....coincidentally, so did Rueben Randle.

I think they've already been intentionally setting this up with the goalline Wildcat plays.

Leonard took direct snaps often at St. Augustine. He threw 16 passes in his high school career completing 8( I looked it up). I actually think this would be awesome to pull out at the right moment. The receiver would be wide open. If a DB sniffed out the play Leonard would be smart enough to tuck it and run. I watched a couple of his games on Cox last year and saw him complete a pass. I think he throws lefty. Can someone clarify that?

After suggesting Leonard line up in the slot on occasion to generate some mismatches and getting ridiculed, I'll try to respond in the proper Tiger Rant manner (even though I think in the right situation it will be very effective):

We recruit running backs to be running backs.
We already have a quarterback.
This proves 90% of the posters on this board are idiots who don't know anything about football.
Enough with the Fournette posts already. Why are we still talking about him?
Why would he throw a pass when he gains 8.6 yards on each rush?
Don't you know there are 3 things that can happen when you throw the ball and 2 of them are bad?
What makes you think you know more than Les or Cam?

I want it come against Bama.

At a pivotal point in the game. Toss right. All of the Tide defense is racing to keep Fournette from getting the edge.

Then. BOOM. TD pass, and that little midget $$$$$ goes absolutely berserk. Screaming. Cursing. Waving his arms like madman as he realizes 4th place in the SEC West has just become reality.

Yes, I do... seriously.

Also expect Miles to hand LF the headset and go take a leak in either this game or the WKU game.

If he does, I hope it is more successful than Herschel Walker's passing career at UGA.

0/1, 1 INT that was ran back 45 yards

Hey man, I'm on your side - sarcasm doesn't translate well in print I guess. If you read my message again, you'll see I said it would be very effective in the right situation. I was parroting the responses I got when I suggested we split him out on occasion and let him catch passes in the secondary. Here is what I said again for easy reference:

Sorry bro. Place gets to me sometimes with the snide remarks. Like the a-hole that made the trindon Holliday remark. So clever. Maybe it was 7 years ago.

Just think we could see him toss a TD before the year is over.

I think it will happen at some point when he lines up in the wildcat in a short yardage situation and it will catch the defense completely off guard.

d like to see it for one simple reason, and that is for the buzz that it would generate. I would like to see a few more passes to him, too. It's bullshite because he is easily the best player in America, in my opinion, but it's hard for a running back to win the Heisman these days with all of the damned program QBs who throw for crazy numbers against weak defenses. Anything that helps to push the BUGA hype train has my vote! I want LSU to take it ALL this year.
