Think our lame student section will rush the field if we beat Bama?

They care so much for the team that they can barely stay past halftime for most games, yet if LSU beats Bama, they will be overcome with emotion and charge the field bc they "care" so much. smh

Funny how you complain about the student section but fail to see a bigger problem in the seats through out the stadium that have filled once this entire season. By halftime half of the general admission seats are empty which also reflects poorly on the school. Makes changes to your area before you criticize others...

If we beat the #1 team in the country that has been our nemesis and has singlehandedly cost us likely multiple national championships in the last half a decade? Yeah, the students would rush the field.

I have no problem with the students or fans leaving at halftime. I do think it's lame for those same fans to rush the field for a big win.

Love the field-rushing police. Get over yourself. If a bunch of college kids staying til the end and running on the field to celebrate after a huge win bothers you so much, you may as well just off yourself.

I just think it should mean something. Not just a selfie opportunity. I did rush the field in '97 bc it DID mean something. I sat through many terrible games and terrible years and finally got to see something wonderful that we cared about. I don't see the point if you don't care.
