Oklahoma State is a better program than us now after getting rid of Miles.

If they were a better program, they would've beaten Iowa St in 2011 and the Bama doesn't back into the championship game. LSU beats the crap out of them in the BCSNCG and doesn't start the 5 game losing streak to Bama and who knows what else. Then we aren't having this conversation.

And a 2 loss team hasn't played for one since.

So sick of hearing this shite. Everyone else had two losses too. Should we have not played the game? Remember the 10-6 NewYork Giants that beat the mighty undefeated Patriots that same season? Should we discount that title too,

You must not know many OK State fans. I worked with quite a few at my old job and I don't know one that was upset when Miles left. Go read up on how many OK State players Gundy kicked off the team when Miles left.

It was Missouri crapping the bed against Oklahoma.

Missouri didn't crap the bed. OK was very good that year and I was glad LSU played OSU instead of them.

The OSU grads I know all said he's a good coach. He was at the time the only coach beating Bob Stoops and he nearly did it 3 times in a row....with a lot less talent, too.

There is ZERO way to know if LSU is better with a new coach...it's a 50/50 proposition and that's if you get the top choice.

How many of the anti-Mikes crowd are going to bitch and moan even louder if LSU has to drop to their 4th,5th, or 6th choice because the top 3 are unavailable or so unrealistic that it's laughable.

And while Jimbo Fisher won NC... he's also lost to NC State, and other programs they shouldn't lose to.

1. Oklahoma was glad to be rid of Les Miles.
This is far more accurate.

T. Boone was the only significant Cowboy glad to be rid of Les when he left because he didn't kiss Pickens' wrinkled arse.

Les deserves criticism for recent performance but most of your argument is disingenuous, mean spirited and opportunistic.
