Bama in Tuscaloosa.

While LSU always seems to struggle vs. Ole Miss in TS, they whoop butt in Vaught Hemmingway

It's hilarious that this guy is sitting on top of his high horse claiming Bama as king...after two consecutive losses...including an arse raping from a MAC/WAC or whatever team. In the worst year of LSU football this decade, the best Bama team this decade needed overtime to beat LSU.

Looks like Ole Miss has a fairly easy schedule

+1
Ole urine has made sure to schedule every out of conference game against patsy teams and has most big SEC foes at home this year. I believe they are going to have an elevated record this year. Maybe even a 10 win season for the first time in...well never mind, maybe the 60's

Not worried about either. Ole Miss has awfully high aspirations considering the history over the past many years, but I can certainly understand the eagerness of the Ole Miss fans after so many years of disappointment. Fact is I for one am fairly confident that we'll put a tough Tiger team on the field this year that will bear little resemblance to last year's team...so we figure it's the other guys who'll be worried about us. We're big, strong, agile, and hostile after last year's issues. Frankly, can't wait to get to Oxford and Bamaland. As to who we'd prefer to beat, Bama or OM...heck, we're gonna beat 'em both.

The point is, you know you have a good team when other teams use descriptions such as past results and 'expectations' to argue how good you'll be.

There's no denying the talent in Oxford right now. Ole Miss returns the best SEC West QB, and it isn't even debatable.

It's hard to understand why all the Tiger fans have gone from at the end of the season saying Ole Miss will be tough to now saying they should be a cakewalk basically.

The history part is funny. The big difference in 2003 and 2009 is Eli had no playmakers and had to do everything himself. Snead has plenty of weapons to work with and as far as defense goes, go ask Charles Scott what he thinks about the Ole Miss defensive line.

I am not worried about BAMA, we gave them all they wanted and LSU did not have a QB an//or a defense... This year thing will be a bit different...

Thats easy

the one I would like most to beat on Nov 7th is 'Bama, and on the 21st Ole Miss. The only thing that sucks is that both games will be on CBS in the afternoon.

Easy - Alabama!
There is no reason anymore to hate Ole Miss. Things are different now than they were back in the old days when Ole Miss and LSU were hugh rivals. I do have a healthy respect for Ole Miss fans and what they have been through in recent years (being a long time Saints fan myself!). I was in Oxford in 2003 for the LSU/UM game and it was loud and exciting. Quite frankly, I have been to three LSU/UM games in Oxford and have always been treated very kindly by the Ole Miss faithful. Alabama on the other hand......

I would have to choose Bama - I just have more passion about that matchup right now. I imagine
I will be pretty excited about Ole Miss when that time comes, but it will be in the heart of the duck season! KC.

I'm not buying the Ole Miss hype. They had a nice four or five game stretch including whipping our butts. But they were a 4 loss team in their best year in a long time and we were a 5 loss team in a down year. I understand they have a lot of returning starters but I'm just not impressed by a team that lost to Vandy and Wake in the same year. It will be fun if they are good though.

Honestly, I'm more worried about the gump game....Ole Miss caught us in a down year last year, but they will revert to the being the runts that they are this year.

I don't really fear either game, and LSU should be favored in both.
