The Tigers look like they are a victim of over-coaching!

With a couple of exceptions, LSU hitters, pitchers, and infielders look like they are thinking too much and not playing on instinct! This is especially true with the hitters. They take too many strikes and swing at too many bad pitches. Just pick your pitch and let 'er rip! Maineiri coaches by the book. Close the damn book and play ball!!! Of course this is IMHO! What a disappointing baseball season!!!

Over coaching?
I'd say it was the exact opposite. There's no fire, from anyone on the team.
So much for winning the game for Mainieri.
and I like Mainieri but I'm not married to him. How do you not get your team fired up for this?
We looked like we had never even had baseball practice.

It's not overcoaching.
It's a leadership deficit.
They're coached by a paranoid psychotic with a Napoleon complex and they're miserable. It's a major block on performance.

I think he's saying we're making the game more difficult than it is. And I agree.

They are under-coached prior to the game, then when it comes game time, the coaches throw a bunch of shite at them and they’re lost
