The State of LSU WBB

What is this the state of LSU WBB???? I look around and see Dawn Staely at SC loading up on talent, HS recruits and now high profile transfers. This past season Caldwell and staff has only signed 2 player out of HS. Ayanna Mitchell she is ranked 64 overall on espn and Shanice Norton she's not even ranked on any recruiting sites and her Youtube highlights don't really look like a SEC caliber player. I know darn well we can bring top 20 prospects to LSU WBB. Lets move on to transfers now we got Tatum Neubert umm 6'2 post another undersize post, in the SEC smh not going to work, she only averaged 2pts a game at Oregon. Then we get Chole Jackson from NC State, I've heard good things about her so who knows. We're still one assistant down, This spot should of been filled months ago. So this is my rant on LSU wbb, Nikki Caldwell is a GREAT coach but her recruiting strategy is going to cause her to be jobless.

How far has she gone in the NCAA's? Does her track record of second round exits in the NCAA's justify her $700K base salary?
Also, it's women's basketball, so let's not act like making the tournament is some grand accomplishment.

From a coaching standpoint, she is good.
The biggest con is that she is literally one of the worst recruiters I have ever seen. Its unacceptable how bad we have been in this aspect. She will be gone soon if she doesn't pull in a top class this year. Talent level is going down badly, we will lose Ballard after this season

My feelings exactly. Some of the kids she's signed and has coming in, it's almost like she's ready to get outta here and trying to hasten her exit.

I admit I am terribly disappointed in her recruiting. We are not a national powerhouse anymore.

How can you both say a college coach, who is only as good as her recruits, is good from a coaching standpoint?
She gets shite recruits. She coaches us to one and done in the women's NCAA tourney, and she makes more than CPM. She is not a good coach. It's clear that anyone can recruit Los Angeles for UCLA.

Because I've watched some of her games and thought she did some good things with the limited talent, especially when Ballard was out for that long stretch.
But her recruiting is IMHO unacceptable, especially for what she's being paid.

Caldwell is a terrible coach with terrible assistants. Almost as bad as having to watch the U.S. Open on fox

Nikki is a great coach. Her track record shows that. Her challenge in recruiting is that there is a rise in attention to women's basketball and other schools fans are in the seats. LSU fans are living room supporters and they don't go to the games and potential recruits take note of that. I can assure you, if we get behind the program and show up, kids will want to come be a part of the environment we create. No fans cheer like we do!!!! Let's support the program!!! The kids will show up!!! No doubt!!!
