The entire organization, Administration included, must have a commitment to winning championships. Saban has that at bama. LSU does not have that.

Bama had like 5 #1 classes in a row, we were just about to pull our 1st in like 10 years, until the rabid bozos and Joe dumbass Alleva took to destroy it. Big difference.

Wasn't Franks flipping anyway? They didn't really lose anyone else, right?

Well our coaches are pretty bad brah! Excluding Florida this year we sloppily beat teams that suck. The two average teams beat the piss out of us! Bama beat us by 17 because we tried hard.

LSU is on it's way to being a 10 win team.
With 8 wins and 1 more to play?

We are not going to have a #1 recruiting class. Espn beat us over the head about being #1 right now before Franks left. Bama always gets a couple 5* recruits on the last day, and magically a few of there 3* gain a star the last month.

And let's be honest, if Florida doesn't lose their QB they probably beat LSU.

One year where we didn't finish in the top 10'of recruiting and that was 2012

Alabama has had the #1 class in the nation like 5-6 years in a row.

We're only #1 on ESPN, not on any other recruiting site. At least not when I briefly looked last week.

Bama has the magic ability to have a #1 class every year no matter what, and the magic ability to always require two losses to miss the NC game/playoffs whereas other teams might be knocked out with one loss.

Yep

And whats interesting is that its not nearly Miles fault. This latest debacle showed that LSU Admins are not committed to winning championships.

For the last couple of years i have posted that Miles coached to keep his job not to win championships. 8-9 wins will keep his job. Well thats been proven.

In the past months i have posted that Miles currently meets all stated goals set forth by Alleva. (Because those stated goals state nothing about winning national championships)

Now we know that F. King Alexander and/or Alleva are not committed to winning championships and are content to pacify this fan base with 8-10 wins. Hence Miles is doing everything asked of him.

Yep, welcome to the 90's
Its on its way

On to baseball, how is it we go from the unanimous number one team during the regular season to shitting the bed come time for supers and the CWS? We never have an approach at the plate, and constantly have stupid base running errors.

We've been to the CWS 2 of the last 3 seasons, STFU.

Meh, seems like Alleva did all he could do. He doesn't seem to want Miles here. King doesn't care.

Ok and what's our record in the CWS in those years? Furthermore, what's Maineiri's record in the postseason not including '09?

Not sure what your laughing at.

When the goal is 8-10 wins and it falls short of that, thats welcome to the 90's.
Combine that with the fact that the LSU Admin took the best part of Miles, recruiting, and cut his legs off. Oh and how do you think LSU's recruiting is going to do next year with Miles on the hot seat.

Instead of a new coach taking over a lot of talent, it will be a project.
It wont matter if Alexander and Alleva are still at LSU, they will just hire a bargain basement coach.

Let's keep the constant criticism of our coaches up. Keep running them down and then getting upset when Bama wins championships with LA boys like Landon Collins, Cam Robinson, Denzell Devall, Kenny Bell and Eddie Lacey starring for them. Rashard Lawrence and Dylan Moses will look great in Crimson and White. Keep doing your part to insure this happens. What's important is that your personal opinion be voiced.

They don't get any better recruits than us, they don't have necessarily an easier or harder schedule than us.

Agreed.

quote:

What they do have are the right guys for their system, they constantly recruit the lines and linebackers (two of the biggest things you need in the west) and their coaching is light years ahead of us.

Couldn't have said it better.

quote:

You rarely see them unfocused, unprepared, undisciplined, and out coached. We're constantly unfocused, unprepared, undisciplined, and out coached.

Look at who their quarterbacks have been, they made Blake fricking Simms a usable quarterback. We have the number one dual threat quarterback in his second year with the same coaches and he still looks as lost as a fricking freshman out there. Why? Because the coaches clearly don't prepare him and haven't prepared him from the start. And honestly, with our offense, it shouldn't be that damn hard to prepare the kid.

Exactly.

9-3 will never cut it when Bama is in the west and we have to see them every single year...

Indeed. Unfortunately none of this will change as long as CLM is the HC.

Great post TFS.
