If we play sloppy and lose get ready. they thrive off of adversity. many kept silent about Miles due to his friendships with many of them. many want Miles as the hero and LSU as the villain.

the only way we can shut them up is our on the field play. I hope we start off right and have a solid offense performance tomorrow. we'll (once again)need it to win anyway. mizzou is a solid ball team.

I think the Tigers are hungry. I think this thing is going to get real good, real fast.

Sorry to the Les Loving "pumpers" for saying that. But it is time for ya'll to get your heads out of the sand and smell the roses. Ya'll come on out and join us. We gonna have so much fun. The media will have more of a field day with our success than a flop (there is no such thing as a flop).

I agree. But if that happens, we'll just have to weather the storm until the new hire comes in. I may have to turn ESPN off until then if it comes to it.

Media has no credibility if they push any agenda as this has been the status quo for some time.

Whenever CEO said we were going to pass the ball early to spread the defense out and set up the run without so many men in the box I instantly had a chub.

What's funny was after Wisconsin they all said he was done, made no changes. Now they are trying to act like he was fired because of one second in the Auburn game. ESPN wants LSU to fall flat on their face. Especially Kannell. frick that dude

IDGAF what the media says or wants to say. Let them talk. They don't have LSU's best interest at heart so no point in worrying about them.

you are way misinterpreting my post as having a hidden agenda. the only thing I meant was that the segment of the media that loves miles (SVP for example) are gunning for LSU and they want us to be wrong for firing "their" guy. no more, no less.

you seem to have some sort of need to pigeonhole me and to accuse me of a continueing pro miles agenda. I will tell you now that you are wrong.

and my head is not in the sand and never has been.

you correct as there is no such thing as a unified "media". but to say there is no such thing as a flop is ludicrous. it seems that you are the one with your head in the sand.

I was saying this last year whenever they were in defend Miles mode. It took one game for them to change their tune this year. ONE GAME.

You don't think the players and coaches don't want to prove miles wrong about his offense philosophy.

We lost to a pathetic Auburn team and escaped an atrocious Mississippi State team. It isn't like playing like shite isn't exactly what we've done all year.

i don't think the media cares that much. sure...they'll probably mention it, but i don't think its going to be an all out assault like you seem to be implying

I feel like most will be reasonable about it. You don't just magically have a well-oiled offensive machine the week after firing your head coach and OC. Obviously there would be people that would pounce for the attention, but I think you're off here.

The media licks their chops for any team to give them the opportunity to bash them. It's kind of what they do.

They've already started with the "Why ______ shouldn't leave [enters school name] for LSU."

exactly. Ignore the talking heads, all of them.

They're just trying to get ratings and clicks, so they try to stir things up. They don't know any more than you do.

Do what I do - just watch the games and ignore the pundits.

well I think we will see the opposite happen. LSU look fantastic on offense and open up a can of whoop arse....the "experts" will say this is what we have been expecting to see at LSAU with all that talent.

this, they don't have it out for us any more than anyone else, this is a newsworthy situation and it's kind of their job to make a story of it
