Everyone fully understood what was on the line Saturday. Lose that game and whatever small amount of confidence we had would be gone, and we could have been looking at a 4-5 loss season. Now, the players know what they are capable of and I think we go 11-1, 10-2 at worst.

I was caught completely off guard by the amount of tickets for sale outside the stadium. What the hell were people thinking not wanting to support the team when they needed it most. I suspect 11/3 will not be that way.

Sure wish I was back in BR instead of North Al. I would have loved to have 1 of those tickets u speak of last Sat. Being I live 600 miles from Tiger Town, I had to let my season tickets go.

I understand some people have situations similar to yours, and I don't have a problem with that. It was just the sheer number of tickets up in the air around the stadium prior to the game. I could have swore we were playing ole miss. It lead me to believe some of the bandwagon fans didn't think we could win.

I think fans should wear gold every week. It looks so much better than the mixture of white, purple , and yellow.

I hope we're never so bad again that we have to take the goal posts down.

the reason i said wish we could is because they do not allow it anymore, I've been to games where we tried but state troopers would not allow it
saturday night they had security behind the benches sideline to sideline at the start of the 4th qtr. no one was going to rush the field anymore ,but just to see them try and stop the fans I wish they would

The fact that cups were getting tossed after touchdowns was proof that Saturday was a magical night in the ole girl. What an atmosphere. I haven't heard it like that since 07 Florida. 11/3 is gonna be wild.

Never gets old.

I reserve the right to rush the field anytime LSU beats No. 1 in Tiger Stadium. #Nov3rd

when you toss your whiskey & coke after a long TD run, etc.

Because tossing whiskey and coke( ) is such an adult thing to do? Why waste good whiskey, and if it's cheap whiskey, why drink it?

Bama 2010 the student section started piling in the bottom sections but there was about 50 sheriffs and cops forming a wall around the student section

There will be many many more Bama fans in the stadium in Nov than gamecock fans that we had Saturday night though. We are going to have to yell so loud we all have vocal nodules Sunday morning.

Saturday was awesome... the loudest TS has been in a while.

In large part due to this being the first SEC night game at Tiger Stadium since Mississippi State in 2010 and us blowing out every opponent that we played at home last year.

It was pretty loud but not vintage LSU crowd noise IMO.

Been going to games for twenty years. From what I hear about the 80/70 it's was ridiculous ear bleeding loud.

I applaud everyone's loudness, my voice is still a little hoarse but you no season ticket holders/Old ppl piss me off win it's 3 and 2/1/goal and you sit down and just have a blank stare at the game. I see this almost every game but it really irritates me during big games. They(older/non season ticket holders) also run to the police the first time they hear profanity or see a probable STH little to drunk. I have seen a Father and his 5 year old boy kicked out of the stadium because some older lady at the Washington game didn't want to hear him screaming in her ear or drinking a little burbon. Everyone in the two sections who saw was booing her and screaming at her after that.

This is why I so prefer watching college football compared to the pros. Saints are good, and we love them, but they cannot insire the spirit that accompanies LSU football.
