The media just can't help but to keep bashing LSU.

Kannnell was just talking to Finebaum about how the midseason move made no sense. He said the offense has been horrible and it's only going to get worse now.
What does that even mean? Why do you think it was so bad Danny? Why would it get worse if the two architects of that offense are gone?
I just can't understand the backwards thinking of sports media. How do they reconcile their massive criticism of Miles and then rip the school for getting rid of him? And how do they think this won't be beneficial for LSU, even in the short term?

Because it is October and you've been practicing a certain scheme for months/years. You don't just change things up without skipping a beat in week 5.
Now I'm not saying things can't/won't get better, but his reasoning isn't as flawed as you make it out to be. We'll know more in 28ish hours.

frick them don't let it bother you. Sadly that offense can't possibly get worse. Without looking it up we've got to be ranked 110th or worse on our O.

If I start doing terrible at my job my boss will not tell me "you suck but you can stay until the end of the year before I fire you". I have never understood the "let him finish out the year" crowd.

Maybe he knows something we don't know...? He surely knows LSU had Jimbo locked up last year until our former governor stuck his nose where it shouldn't be. Yeah yeah, the LSU head coach is the highest paid state employee, but Piyush was on his way out. Kanell is probably scared LSU is about to offer Jimbo a deal he can't refuse, and he knows FSU lucked into having Jimbaw lined up after Bowden retired.

We promoted a guy who hasn't been an OC in over a decade. Either he is the most loyal guy to LSU ever or not a single HC in America thinks he is capable of calling plays.
We could be the same shite arse offense, the Ol is 1/3 of the problem mainly in the run game but I am optimistic. Just far from saying all is fixed.
