What school besides Clemson does this pertain to?

I don't have time to do all the research, but off the top of my head, last year J.T. Barrett (as a RS Freshman) and then Cardale Jones (as a sophomore) led Ohio State to the NC. Johnny Football and Jameis won the Heisman as redshirt freshmen. Josh Rosen lit it up this year at UCLA as a true freshman. The year before, Brett Hundley lit it up as a RS freshman. DeShone Kizer had a very good year this year at Notre Dame as a sophomore.

Shall I keep going?

Jamarcus and Flynn were carry overs from Jimbo
IIRC Jimbo was OC under Miles?
I never got why some want to separate Jimbo from Miles.
Like after Jimbo, Miles became the QB coach?(LOL)

Redshirt Freshman...so roughly the same amount of time in college football at the start of 2005 season as Brandon Harris has right now.

The end game is the NC. A few you listed did that; a few others didn't.

So, maybe we should bash Miles for not being able to recruit high caliber QBs than saying he just doesn't develop them, right?

When looking at Miles's resources and recruiting pool, we should be 1st. And 5th?? If you believe that, you haven't been watching the same LSU I have been.

It's over a 25 year span, so it's not all on Miles. The fact is there have been 7 QBs drafted out of LSU over that 25 yr span.

No denying that.

TT's qb in the bowl game also. There's no need to go on. In the last 5 years we've seen basically all teams do fine offensively with first year starters at QB. Everyone but LSU that is. And the people who keep denying it are guilty of confirmation bias.

It was a rhetorical question.

Off the top of my head in 2 minutes, I named more than a handful of guys. I could list more, and you know that's true.

My point has been proven - young QBs can play very well.

You're delusional. You have no argument here so all you can do is sit back and laugh.

Mett transfered here after getting his QB development elsewhere.

You are joking right???

Mett said he learned and developed a great deal under Cameron. The idea that Mett came to LSU ready to walk into an NFL lineup is the musings of the naive and simple-minded. There is some credit for Mett to be given to CCC.

I don't think I am. I think I made the argument that once QBs get to LSU they develop and go to the next level. To say ALL schools who have young starting QBs excel except for LSU is DELUSIONAL.

Do you remember Jimbo Fisher? What was his role in developing Booty, Rohan, Mauck, JR, and Flynn?

And Mett? I understand Jimbo is a great developer of the QB position. No denying that. But who was the HC when JRock, Mett, and Flynn were here?

It's really easy to put the blame on Miles when the position is off; but you can't say he cannot develop a QB.

So, he can't develop a QB without Jimbo? Why did Mett go pro?

You must argue that Cam is not better than Jimbo. Not Miles cannot develop a QB.

So that's great, what about every other year? We have the recruiting classes that are really talent loaded but other than the 2013 season we can't see to hit on all cylinders because? What's the issue? Whether its that our offensive game plan sucks, the players aren't ready to play, or just aren't good enough all falls on coaching. The fact is that Cam is the highest paid OC in the country and we get some of the best talent in the country and we end up with the 39th ranked offense in the country mainly because we blew up against one of the worst defenses in the nation in our bowl game. It was a lot worse before that. That's the joke right there. The highest paid OC in the country is at LSU and our passing this year resembled something out of a middle school football team. That's pretty damn hilarious if you ask me.

Now you are on to something here...maybe.

Not one word of Miles in your post.

We are getting somewhere.

I think you miss my point.

The poster I was responding to posited the argument that Mett was developed and all dialed in when he showed up in Baton Rouge. That's ridiculous.

I do share your bitching about the offensive scheme and production though.
