This is an observation I've been seeing over the last five years.. I know the offensive game plan was awful and the lack of consistent qb play. I really feel like the offensive line is the issue. We could have had Drew Breez this past season and it would not have helped us. Does anyone agree with me and do you think this will be addressed anytime soon?

The key to beating any team is scoring more points then the other team. If you do that, you have a good shot at winning a lot of games.

Hmmm, pretty sure it would have.

Even as quick as Drew is at releasing the ball I still think he would have been sacked numerous times.

Helps not to get fricked by the zebras too. That ND game and no TD before the half was egregious.

I agree in the sense that having a great offensive line is key to beating them, but we had a great offensive line. The problem is that we never had a way to get the defense off balance so the loaded the box and dominated the line. We could go toe to toe like that against anyone else in the country. But Alabama's defensive front 7 is way to strong and powerful.

That is why I like what Canada does. keep the defense off balance enough and our o-line will be able to block and give the QB, RB, and WRs time to make some plays.

I agree. Clemson had all day to get rid of the ball.

Here's the key(s):
Have Arden Key,
Be creative on offense (Canada will do much better with this than Les Miles in the Stone Age)
Have a good defense (last year's was elite and good enough to beat them)
Recruit well

We have potential. Just have to play a good game

It's really simple, I mean it was simple when Miles was here. Saban knows LSU, knows the pro-style offense. Knows how Miles coaches and recruits. It's almost to easy to game plan. Now what scares him(Saban), and keeps him up at night!? Spread , and not your grandmas nut butter spread. Canada has all the skill and smarts to put together a game plan that's unbeatable. We've been defensively close to ever team we've played. But now it's time to run the damn score up, and make this team and offense explosive. Which in turn will bring 5* QBs that we have been missing out on, because of our 3 yards and a cloud of Fart Dust offense of the past.

Same with Alabama aka P. Peterson 2009.

There were multiple issues and they all started with the HC and OC, their scheme caused many of the problems we had.

We'll see if this new scheme makes a difference? We'll just have to wait and see.

A good QB can negate an average Oline.
And a good Oline can negate an average QB.

You're going to need both to beat Bama if they keep cranking out absolute freaks in the front 7.
