bama = 3 of 4 nc's.

LSU = 3 of 4 bowl losses.

smh.

A&M could have beaten bama last night and Saban knows it and they will next year also

Meh. I'm not as eager as everyone else to crown A&M right now. JFF has a sophomore slump next year. Book it.

I'm also enjoying the perennial Oregon circle jerk in this thread. Hey, maybe they won't choke again next year, but I'd play the odds and bet they will. LSU will of course underperform too.

Ohio State will be in the running as well. Real soon

Yeah because they have had so much success against the SEC in bowl games.

the only reason A&M beat bama this year was because bama played us the week before. the SEC took care of that next year (they open with VTech, then have a bye, then play A&M).

No, sorry I'm not willing to fork the title over to them. But the sec offices made damn sure that they have a favorable road to get there.

Bingo. Hand them the title now.

Well, however you want to define it.

Point still made and agree with OP. Also agree that LSU is not next in line to pick up the crystal ball again when it happens.

Why doesn't Alabama have any underclassmen coming out early? To the first person that spews "the team hates Miles" I will hunt you, I will find you, and I will beat you to death and drink your blood from a boot. I only want serious answers from semi intelligent people.

Nick Saban being the huge a-hole and douchebag he is IRL certainly is at least giving us anecdotal evidence that karma is BS.

hell it could be empirical evidence now.

this, sadly.

i think the REC buys players, I think Saban looks the other way when his players get high or break rules, i think the administration covers up any trouble, i think greg williams gave kirby smart our signals for the NCG, but none of that matters. its working, and if they're breaking rules the sec and ncaa dont seem to mind. no magic fairy is gonna stop them, its up to us (though if the Browns wanted to throw 50 million at saban to leave, that would be great).

Agreed - It seems Texas A&M is looking to take the reins.

no its because they were still playing in the title game. I'm betting a couple of OLine guys declare, as well as a couple defensive players.

Yep. Oregon, Oklahoma, and Ohio St. have nothing but one team in their conference to rival them and after that, they are solid the rest of the way. It's also why they slip up against a weak opponent every single year. Oregon may put up 30 against Bama, but i'd bet you a milli that Bama puts up 40.
