IMO. I'm not saying that either QB sucks....just that they are inexperienced...2008 we had 3 starters. 2009 JJ 1st yr starter (bring him along slow build confidence means limited playcalling to what he can execute ). 2010 starter inexplicably regressed ( you think he had not received any coaching?). Now JL back in the mix...

Where were you in 2005?

I assume you're referring to Tennessee. That game was the result of a bad decision throughout a half of football, not a single play or drive, which is the object to which I am referring.

Bull fricking shite.
If you were a senior on the 2007 team, you have a different opinion than your teamates.

Dude, I had a class with a player from that team who graciously allowed me to look through the playbook. It was the same shite we're doing now, just executed better.

Our pass game now is : ( mostly)

WR screen in flat
JJ roll out to crossing WR
Mid WR out or curl

Tbese are all SAFE routes, easy reads, LOW pick percentage

Playcalling to help build confidence....

Um, um, um...

The issue is that we discovered we're not an elite program after all.

And we just got beat by that other SEC West school that can't cope with not being an elite program either.

Guess we better shut up and focus on betting an elite program in two weeks. It would help if the fans would cheer like the rabid animals they were before we got all full of ourselves and lulled ourselves to sleep with tales of what a great elite program we are.

My apologies, your in-depth perusal of the playbook far outweighs the opinion of several senior starters from that offensive unit.

well then why the hell haven't Miles & Co recruited a solid QB? why is it that every other top-tier program can consistently bring in solid QBs but not LSU?

We bring them in, but they leave or don't stay.

Zach Lee could have been great, maybe not though. We just had one transfer away during the off season. Hell..had RP stayed he would have been good, and as a result maybe JL/JJ too.

We have recruited them, it's just a matter that they haven't developed or we lost them before they could develop.

Getting a top flight qb that actually pans out is the hardest recruiting job there is. For instance, all 12 SEC teams recruit as hard as they can to get top QB's. We are the elite conference in the country and should easily attract the best. So how many ELITE QB's are there in the SEC this year?

Ala- average
Aub- elite
Fla- average
LSU- poor
Miss St. poor
ole miss- poor/average
Ken- average
Ga- average
Vandy- poor
Ark- elite/average
USC- average
Tenn- poor

So with EVERY team recruiting the position as hard as they can, these are the QB's everyone has? Not much to chose from is it? This should help you understand how it is possible for us to be where we are at the QB position right now. Chill out tadpoles, this will cycle through and we will get another great QB one day soon. You just can't have one every year.
