Love your benchmark performance of the national championship game.
I think its the benchmark for bad QB performance by an LSU QB on a big stage. At least as far as I am aware.

We really have no business pointing out the absurdity of posters from other fan bases.
Have you ever read the Rant?

Alot of us here in the "corn cob" state truly believe that we were lucky to be in the game. If your QB plays, we lose by more than 7.
For those of us who dont wear our Hawkeye underwear, here is how I saw the game.
LSU- Bigger Stronger Faster. I was very surprised by how strong your running game was. Hill is a beast with a young line in front of him. Your WR are fast and catch when thrown to. Just didnt see too much of it. Your defense can tackle. I think we started wearing them down a little at the end of the game, but, honestly it was too late. LSU was and is the better team. We play that game 10 times, we win 1 of them.
I do believe that your D tackle was faking it, and thought that while watching the game. But its part of the game, until they put the "no flopping" rule into football its always going to happen. Iowa fans hate that flopping because we believe that the last 2 years Michigan State has done that to us to kill any momentom we might have had. It was painfully obvious he pulled a fast one when he was twearking 2 minutes later.
I want to wish LSU good luck next year and good luck in gathering some talent tonight in the HS all star game.
Best Wishes,
Iowa Fan

to be fair, I've tweaked my knee before and was in severe pain, but once I was able to get up and walk, the pain wore off pretty quickly, like 5 minutes later
with that said, Freak was most definitely faking it

Man your QB sucked balls. He looked clueless out there, not as bad as the MNC game a few years ago but bad.

Is speaking poorly about JJs incredible talents still a banable offense?

That site is full of sore losers and tremendous amounts of butt hurt. Is the power grid in Iowa run on whining? Let's go over a few items:
1) They are hating the player and not the game. If the rules let you slow down the game by being injured, then those are the rules. I also believe our speed is so much faster then theirs.
2) They did only need a few yards to score their 14 points. But special teams and turn overs are part of the game. They scored on us, we scored on them.
3) They could not stop our run game. Period. When it mattered most we played hard nosed football and won in the trenches...without having to do gimmick plays of snapping the football before their defense was set. They knew what was coming and they still could not stop it.
4) The officiating was average at best on both sides of the ball. The called fumble and then it being overturned as well as the called TD with a whistle blowing then saying it was not a TD and that we could have recovered it even thought the whistle blew.
5) John Gruden is not biased and called a great game. He disagreed with the calls on the field when they needed it, on both sides of the ball.
6) The SEC has more talent and LSU is at the top of that talent pool.
7) We won and the last time we played they won. That is football. Get over it. Also, Miles beat Iowa with his players and Saban lost to Iowa with his players. I guess Miles is the better coach.
Geaux Tigers.

Wow at the guy bringing up games from the 1800's

Disagree. Most of the comments call the OP down. The majority of Hawk fans seem to be fair minded folks, unlike the Gumps.
I noticed the leg switch, too. If it was faked that was bush-league B.S.

You won despite him not because of him. That game was won by your RB (who is a fricking beast) and your D, plus our QB play was just as bad if not worse.
Freshman QB making his first start against the #6 Defense in the nation....I don't think he did to bad...far from stellar, but not to bad.

Iowa would have been shut out if not for two big plays! The INT and the kickoff return! And there QB was hit and fumbled. No doubt about it. The refs blew that as usual. This all one needs to know about this game.

there are some sensible posters, but the one who proposed disputing the results!!!!!
rantards will bitch about officiating and make life miserable for the SEC front office, but disputing results AFTER a game is finished???

you need to read the posts about not giving LSU any respect...
Agree. Some pretty snotty stuff there. LSU uniforms too tight and small and lot of lineman fat hanging out. ??? Tight jerseys cut down on holding opportunities.
They didn't like our guys showboating. Me neither, but so what. Seems to me the score ought to be the biggest showboat.
They are universally in an uproar accusing LSU of faking injuries. No matter. Their fans booing was classless.
There are digs at SEC/LSU academics. Claim that LSU honor grads will be worthy of CDL licenses. Not like Iowa, Stanford and Michigan who will all be doctors, lawyers and future.com billionaires.
