Yes, but he still sucked out there. You won despite him not because of him. That game was won by your RB (who is a fricking beast) and your D, plus our QB play was just as bad if not worse.

Hawkeye, your assessment is correct. From 2009-late 2012 Les Miles has tried to win games without using the qb position. He's become pretty good at it.

I lived in central Iowa years ago and I can tell you that when it comes to ANYTHING related to the Hawks Jon is insufferable. He whines, crys, and bitches like no one else. Iowa is a small population state and Hawkeye athletics are a big part of the scene up there and Jon not only has the board but also a radio program and occasional TV show (or at least did).
Imagine a whinier, more touchy version of Finebaum without the tradition and without any counter balance and you have Jon.

*Starting QB was hurt, would have been 50+ with Mettenberger playing.
**No offense whatsoever, thanks to a great defensive pick six and blown coverage on ST.
ETA: It looks like it's just that one guy that's butthurt, the other Iowa fans are saying he needs to lose with dignity and the better team won.
