What if you think Cheney orchestrated 9/11, does that make you a nega-American?

9-3 is what most sane Tiger fans expected, maybe 10-2 with a break here or there. You knew we'd split UF-Bama, with another loss somewhere.

10-2 is the best we could've hoped for with a new QB, D Coordinator.

Nega-tigers." These shallow, cold and timid souls know neither good sportsmanship, nor how to be a fan. They flood message boards with negative rants about the LSU Football coach, Les Miles, and even the young players themselves.
Has he not read some of his own "columns". He was bashing Miles just like all the others.

LSU was in the top tier of SEC teams when he took over.

And Saban had just lost his last two games at LSU. Does that make LSU a top tier team or Saban a great Coach.....?

What does it take to please some of you people?

In college football, without a playoff, the win-loss record only tells part of the story. The way in which a team wins and loses is as important. For example, bama and texas had the same record this season but have flip-flopped in the all-important rankings several times because of the quality of their wins ans loses. Cincinnatti and tcu will never get a shot at the NC because thet didn't have as many big wins as the other teams.

With that as the background, Les has had unimpressive wins and coached us to a loss. The fact that fans are unhappy with him this year does not make them negative, it demonstrates that they understand college football.

Also referring to this year as an up-year in the sec and noting that lsu was 9-3 does not tell the story. Les coached us to a 5 and 3 sec record with two victories angaint 6-5 teams and one over vanderbilt. Not impressive.

In conclusion, Lsu's record this season does not tell the story of this season. It is like looking at a pitcher's win/loss record instead of his era. Fans are not negative for their disapointment in les.

You only wish you could write this well. Tell me, how many times did you have to consult a dictionary?

Good post. I had to consult a dictionary for the negatiger comment. I, like Chris, feel we should be as positive as we can at all times for our tiger coaching staff. If we don't hang in there with the staff and we begin to criticize dumb moves or what we may think is poor coaching, it may sway some recruits and may even put an end to our "Recruiting National Championships". Of which I am very proud of...

You're not an LSU fan, Chris. You're a LES MILES fan.

I know Chris, albeit not all that well, but he was an undergrad at LSU the same time I was - late-Archer/early-Hallman.

For me, it puts some added appreciation to this decade and a little levity to the unrealistic expectations that the fanbase now has. It doesn't make the possibility of mediocrity acceptable, but it does give you a different perspective.

To call out those who dare suggest the program is on the decline under Miles as "Nega Tigers" is proof positive that those who do not, have there head up....

Surprised I've actually haven't thought of this yet. That is kind of interesting.
