The Heisman is won in November, Leonard....UPDATED

We saw that last year.
Get healthy man, and then go put on a show against OM, Bama, Arkansas, Florida in your last game in Tiger Stadium, and then eat A&M's lunch like you always so to win the damn thing in College Station.
If you take down Bama your legacy as one of if not the best and most important players in LSU history will be cemented.
BUMP EDIT:
Bump
Fournette now has 670 yards and 5 TDs in four games, all against power five schools. He will not have a single carry against a non P5 school all season.
He is less than 200 yards and 2 TDs behind the #9 rusher in the country, Dalvin Cook, who has played three more games, including Charleston Southern.
He is less than 300 yards behind the RB from BYU, the only other P5 RB in the top 10 in the country, at #4.
He is 50 yards and 2 TDs ahead of Christian McCaffery, the other preseason Heisman candidate RB.
If LF can put up 100 yards in a win over Bama, and continue to play the way he has so far this season against Arkansas, whose run defense looks very bad, at home against a solid Florida team, and against a weak run D at A&M, there is no question he will be in New York for the Heisman.
Add in a possible SECCG and voters would be very hard pressed to pass up the chance to make a possible future NFL HOFer part of their fraternity.
Lamar Jackson is obviously the front runner right now, but as the point of this thread indicates, we all know how much the the October favorite counts once all the games are played.
Stay focused Leonard. Every single goal for this season is still in reach #letsride

I have as much of a chance to win the Heisman as Leonard. He's missed half the season

I tend to agree. Fournette will be a high draft pick and have a great NFL career.
Heisman is no longer possible with the games missed. The voters who don't see him play each week have only stats to vote from. Unfortunately, Fournette won't have such to make his case. Others around the nation will have gawdy stats.

Screw the Heisman, Leonard needs to come back and go all the way in and lead us to a championship.

Wrong. While unlikely, it is possible. The key is having a big game against Bama as well as winning the game.

I'm in!!!
He just destroyed a top 25 team and still has a gauntlet left to run. If he does similar the next 4 games, he'll definitely get an invite. Baby steps.

Musberger was pimping LF7 HARD for the Heisman last night.
Brent fricking Musberger. Of all people.

Still a lot of ball left to be played, but would take jackson getting hurt or an epic collapse by Louisville for the heisman race to open back up. But then LF7 would be in the middle of it.
Posted on 10/23/16 at 9:14 am to Tiger Voodoo
We all love LF7 but even if he got 3,000 yards on the ground Lamar Jackson would still win in an unanimous landslide.

Hope he'll run 500 yards against Bama, then I'm in :)

Two weeks ago I said this was a possibility and got down votes 10 times. Put up solid numbers against Bama, and I think he at least can play his way into an invite to New York.

You can't say that now. We still have four or even five more games against key SEC opponents. A stellar show in these games could even launch LF back into frontrunner status, particularly if other teams slip along the way.
Who would have thought Derrick Henry would win last year? Before Bama's beatdown of LSU in Tuscaloosa everyone was chanting "Fournette, Fournette". No one even suggested Derrick Henry. That game changed everything.

Not sure if serious. Henry was a top 5 favorite going into that game in Vegas.
