Does anyone else think that over time, these first round games will become less and less attended? Not by just LSU fans but fans across the country.

If you look at teams who we get at LSU now that the field has expanded to 64, there are a lot of "midweek" type games vs "midweek" type teams.

Maybe I'm just really biased towards the old format. Just a rainy day thought.

It is NCAA tournament baseball. You would get those if the tourney was 48 teams as well. I always see it being big at LSU

You didn't get it when you'd have multiple big name teams in the same regional at LSU.

Over saturated.... Plus ZERO games west of Texas is A shame.... College baseball has become its own worst enemy.... TOO much talent all around.....

Can't take any game for granted.

And small schools can have very good teams, remember Stony Brook.

I like the way things are. With autobids you will always have games like you have the last two days.

Have you forgotten why the tournament was expanded to 64 teams? We're not going back to a 48 team tournament.

We had a #3 seed win it all last year and a #4 seed has won it all before too. Regionals have become so much more competitive since I was young. I remember when the entire regional was just going through the motions for LSU.

The weather the last two years is why I will never buy a tournament book again. I'll probably try to get tickets to a game or two.

What does too much talent all around (I guess you are saying parity) have to do with no games West of Lubbock?

Why doesn't Alex Box install some kind of retractable roof? It's right as rain: South Louisiana in June is usually quite rainy.
