updated Bama 2 Auburn 5 way up since last week (keep in mind Auburn will get a bump in the computers if they beat Mizzou) edit: Mizzou 3

LINK

not up to date

LINK

Bama 2 Auburn 6 edit Mizzou 3

again Auburn gets bump next week if they beat mizzou

but there are two polls out so far this will change when more computers come out

But the humans will rank Auburn ahead of Bama in every poll.

FSU will be the clear Number 1

Auburn will be 2 or 3 close to OSU 2 or 3

Bama or Mizzou will be 4 but that won't matter if Mizzou wins they jump bama no matter what

Bama or Mizzou will be 5 but as described before if Mizzou wins they jump Bama.

No - look at the AP.
Slip up by Ohio State or FSU with an AU loss and AL gets in before MO and Ok St

no Bama would not get in over Mizzou if they won.

I think more people want to keep Bama/the SEC out of the NC.

BAMA is out.

There is absolutely no way BAMA gets in over an SEC Champion
except if tOSU loses and Mizzou beats Auburn

If FSU lose
If tOSU lose
If AU loses.

It might be Mizzou vs Alabama. Gotta really hope both FSU and tOSU BOTH don't lose. Be happy Mizzou won, or else Bama would've needed just one to lose.

A 1-loss Michigan State probably wouldn't get in over Alabama. Ok State doesn't have a Championship game which I think hurts them.

This isn't inconceivable just yet.

Just gonna point out that this year would be an excellent year to show a scenario where the 4-team playoff would have controversery.

Hypothetically, FSU, tOSU win their champ games and are in. Aub/Mizzou play in a SEC champ game, one wins and is in, the other drops in the rankings. Alabama sitting at home not playing a champ game, moseys in to the 4th spot and has an opportunity to win the title. Controversy for the Aub/Mizzou loser who got shafted for playing the champ game.

Since the playoff games are selected by committee they could avoid this, but I'll guess we'll find out in the future what they decide to do when a situation like this arises.

While I would hate if for bama to be in the 4 finalists, it still means the championship has a better chance of being decided on the field rather than how the current BCS system does it.

Don't be so sure - the allure of a 3 time National Champion winning 4 of the last 5 is huge for TV ratings.
It is ALL about the $$

Some of you are the most traumatized fans I've ever seen. You really can't believe that Bama is out of it.

If Mizzou beats auburn they WILL jump bama.

so far Mizzou is ahead of Auburn in the computers, they may jump Bama in the computers if they beat Auburn

ALL of the humans would vote Mizzou ahead of Bama if they won.

only way Mizzou wins and gets snubbed if there are two Unbeatens or somehow Michigan State jumps Mizzou which I doubt happens.

Do not over look Michigan State if they beat OSU...they should crack the top ten this week and with a win over #2 OSU with only one loss and them being Big 10 Champions is not out of the question...

Why do people keep forgetting about Okla St when they complain about the 4 team playoff scenarios.

Okla St plays in Bedlam next week while Alabama stays home.

There is no fricking way someone would unanimously rank Bama over Mizzou if they win the SEC.

I give it a 95% chance Mizzou jumps Bama in your scenario

Only 95% I would say if Mizzou wins there is a 100% chance they jump bama

Well 99.9% just to account for bcs stupidity
