The "be happy, we won" logic

I don't get why people use his logic to justify current state of the program. Sure, LSU won. But the reason people who criticize Miles/Cameron are looking into the future. They project that if we don't change our offensive approach, we won't be a program at a high level.
The "we won" logic doesn't address the issue. It's just sweeping the causes/symptoms under the rug.
The point is that college football is a constantly changing game and that many feel that our coaching staff is lagging behind.
I always said that there are 2 keys to a balanced offense. 1) Having personnel to execute which LSU has. 2) Creative playacting which LSU lacks.
When you play the New Mexico or McNeese state of the world, LSU can put up big numbers because LSU's athletes can overpower and outspeed their personal. But when LSU plays legit competition like Bama or Auburn, LSU players are at the same level as their players. So this is were creative playcalling comes in.
If other team knows what you're doing, it's game-over because they will adjust to stop it. There's no need for them guess. It's like poker, you have to mix it up to keep opponents on their toes.

It was the first game man. Tough game to work out the kinks, but we fricking did it.

The truth must've stung since you counter with a drawing. That drawing is old, and repetitive....like the LSU's play calling. I see why you used it now.

no one cares what you do or don't "get". it simply doesn't matter what your cognitive abilities are.
before you think i'm slamming you, think about it; no one cares what my cognitive abilities are either.
you don't understand why people think differently than you. you have no corner on the thinking dept

Its because he understands bitching on a message board isn't going to change anything.

Alright. Les should try to throw for 500 yards per game. If we lose its ok as long as we hit 500 yards...

Did you even watch the game? What 'kinks' were worked out exactly. If what we saw in the 1st quarter would've happened in the 4th and vice versa then your post would make sense.

I agree 100%
If you say anything you think needs improvement, you get the we won line. LSU just needs the run game to win every game.
worthless chatter
look in the mirror when you say this. More nonsense

That logic only holds if you believe CLM/Cam philosophically are unwilling to open up the offense regardless of the circumstance rather than simply trying to best succeed with where they currently are. However, they did open up the offense significantly in Mett's second start year with the players around him.
It's pretty miserable to always assume the worst. I applaud your passion. Just try to relax a little and enjoy the season more. They've shown that they're willing to open it up once they have the pieces in place. Let's hope we're able to get there soon. But to say they are incapable of opening up the offense ignores history.
