Product of the times...much of the younger generation thinks nothing of using f-you like their saying "get lost"...they don't get it.It's on tv constantly and seems to be no big deal. Never can remember this sort of thing in the student section even ten years ago.."Go to hell" was about all that was ever said...

Well welcomed or not, there will always be a student section. It sucks they banned neck, but like i said I don't condone adding profanity to cheers, so I guess banning it is the only thing they can do.
My point was, getting rid of the student section, or giving more tickets to the general public is the worst possible thing they can do, and anyone who condones such an idea should think about how much the student section means to Tiger Stadium.

I heard it the ESPN network late in the 4th qtr....You could also hear it on the Cox replay, which comes on tomorrow night.

FWIW, the first time I heard that phrase in Neck was at the WVU game scattered around. It seemed like I was the only one not singing it during the UT game.

I'm not sure- that may help. But, I'd think if you can still hear the band, you'd probably still hear the chant....The student section could be a real asset to the broadcast, IMHO- but not by showing their arse.
They still need to represent themselves & LSU a little better in Tiger Stadium. Nobody's saying they should act like church mice, but damn....

bullshite. It's this kind of thinking that has them doing this garbage in the first place. The kids in college these days are the first generation of the babyboomer's grandkids and they've actually been labeled generation who cares. They've never been held accountable for anything.
