If your coach consistently beat a highly ranked team year end and year out that resulted in the other program going g on a loosing streak to finish each seaso, I ask would you not want that coach to stay put. Bama wants Miles retained simy because they know Saban will deliver that yearly arse beating not because they think Miles is a good coach.

ask them, would you want Les Miles coaching your team

ask any fan of that is adamant Les should stay and it's a mistake.. if they would gladly welcome Les as there coach and not be uneasy about it

t's the same with the media.

After years of saying how LSU can do so much better than Miles, they blast LSU for trying

This times fiddy! Scona had some dude from USA Today on yesterday that supposedly is a respectable and informed CFB reporter, and he was just parroting the same talking points from the national media. I was laughing the entire time.

It was the opposite when Saban was here. I lived in B'ham at time and every day on radio they were advocating for him to go to NFL.

They know that once we get the ball rolling we'll again be the only real threat to their dominance.

They see a good man getting run down.
It's human nature to defend him.
I applaud them for this.
I did the same for Florida fans when their team was sucking.

It doesn't help the SEC for one of its powerhouses to struggle.
It hurts the whole conference.
The SEC has been top dog for a long time. To continue, the big dogs have to perform.

Bama fans are human too.....sometimes.

Is it possible that some Bama fans can recognize a good coach, and some LSU fans can't?

They feel comfy as long as Les is here. LSU getting a truly competitive coach scares the bejeebus out of them.
