Legally, probably nothing. PR wise, I think it will look better if the final story is the players were involved in a fracas over a girl, and it escalated and got out of hand vs. players pull random innocent people of out vehicles and assault them.
End result isn't any different, this is all about the program and the players trying to have some positive spin put on it.

It means that if she knows JJ -- then it further provides motive for JJ to be involved in the fight. I don't think this was a good move for the defense -- and you KNOW that she got this restraining order because she was 'advised' to do so.
With the blurry video -- i think the defense's only option is to disprove any involvement. If she know's JJ -- and its true that she is behind the football players stepping in to intervene -- then I don't see how they get out of this.
Obviously, it ensures that no one thinks Lowery is an angel either... which is good, but it certainly doesn't provide a DEFENSE against BATTERY.
