Ho Yes He Did! Remember what happened when Moo MOO scored that TD and then what happened? They showed that when they get ready and really want to they can do it. I am just wondering if they are not toying with us and the opposistion?

Just say!

The absolute worst thing happened?

We beat Miss St by three TDs, did we not?

Most of the "experts" picked a very close game, did they not?

Our defense once again showed improvement in their next game.

Sorry- you can't ruin it for me, anyway.

we won. try to get more excited about a victory over an sec opponent who almost defeated a pretty damn good auburn team.
I wish I had your optimisim (sp?)and am glad that people can be happy after a tough SEC win.
I find myself at a crossroad with JJ & LM, leaving a game disgusted with the offensive performence. I just would like to see Lee given a few opprtunities to try and spark the offense, the worst case scenario involving rotating the two is that Lee does not step up and deliver. The program can then move forward and Tiger fans will unite. Is that asking too much from a fans prospective.

Winning a football game is never the absolute worse thing that can happen.

If the Japenese wouldn't have bombed Pearl Harbor, we might have stayed out of WWII and the Axis might have won. Then, they would have invaded us, and we would have been on our own. In a way, Pearl Harbor catapulting us into that war was a terrible loss, but in the long run it led to us standing up while we still could and not being completely outnumbered and fighting on our own soil.

Everytime another fan is satisfied with the terrible offensive performance we are showing right now, we are hiding a very real problem that needs to be addressed. Do we wait until it's been twenty years and we are known as that team who sometimes beats Bama on their rebuilding years to go to the SEC championship game, or even that team who usually finishes third or fourth in the SEC? There's a real problem here, and I see Miles just doing what it takes to win, and thats fine when you're playing crap teams. What are we going to do when we play good teams? Are you really gonna take your loss and say, "well, Florida was really good this year... and we only lost to them by 15 pts."? I'm telling you, thats what you're gonna say every year with Miles. He'll win the games he's supposed to win, in an ugly way, and we'll never win the big ones. LSU dominance is over. Or am I the only one that has seen 3+ teams jump us in the polls after some of them started the season unranked.

The play calling was meh but we scored on every single drive we had when it counted.

Still not a 300 yard game for JJ.

We are in real trouble if JJ becomes a 300 yard passer. That means we are down by 3 TDs. That type of game is not LSU's style.

I think Les losing his job will take care itself later on in the year. I see us losing at least 4 games if things dont change. The defence can't win em all for us. With the score 29-7 with 12 mins left in the game why the not put Lee in and see what he's got. Les said during the week he deserved and shot to play...that was the perfect chance. Why he is in love with JJ is beyond me. Lee can't be worst than JJ, just can't be. Ok I feel better...

Ok. Well, we'll see how great JJ performs against, WVU, Tenn, and then we'll really see if he can handle the heat against Florida and Bama. Our defense isn't going to hold all those teams to 7 or less pts, and they won't be providing our offense with turnovers on the 50 either.

gotta hand it to you. you are reaching deep.

i have not heard ONE SINGLE POSTER THAT IS SATISFYED WITH OUR OFFENSE. you thinking that many posters are SATISFYED is either an assumption or poor reading comprehension skills. EVERYONE, even us happy people that are happy that we won the game is admitting we need to improve on offense. there is a difference between critisism and blatant whining.

I should have stopped reading before I got here, but this takes the cake. LES WILL NEVER WIN THE BIG ONES. LMAO. He has a NC, 2 BCS Wins, and 2 SEC West Titles in 5 years...plus he has beaten several top ten opponents. LMAO. This guy is either a quack, or he is an imposter lsu fan. My gut is that he is an imposter lsu fan for sure, and possible quack.

I vote Curley. I want some 2-9 seasons and four losing years in the SEC with an overall of 16-28. Fun times.

The play calling was simplified to help Jefferson and that is what worries me. Yes he had a good game but that gameplan will not beat Alabama. He has got to be able to stretch defenses if this team wants to win championships. I expect a little more out of junior qb with a full season already under his belt.

I think that alot of people have simply accepted that LSU will win the majority of their games and look ugly doing it. This offense is Ugly and everyone that is expecting a transformation is dreaming. LSU is a solid 3 or 4 loss team. They are capable of better things; but not until there are changes.

Alot of people are happy with 3 or 4 losses a year. Thats fine. Some see the potential for more and are frustrated. That would be me.

I don't think Saban is losing any sleep over our "simplified for Mr. Jefferson" offensive scheme .

Ok well I guess you will be pulling against the team. I look at the glass half full. Not a single 3 and out the whole game which is huge. A 10 play and a 13 play drive to start the game. Due to field position there was only a max of 336 yards that could be achieved minus the last 2 drives when it was in hand. They put points on the board every single drive with the exception of the last 2 when it was in hand.

Is the D going to look like this all season? No. Today was the D but the offense did alot of good things and I am ready for the toughest test yet. Bring on WVU.

MSU's defense is very good. Auburn might lack skill at WR compared to LSU but there QB is much better, and I wouldn't be surprised if we had just as many problems scoring on them.

So Is MSU defense good or not? I'm confused.
