JJ played just decent enough to keep his job, but didn't show anything promising. Five turnovers and a smoking hot defense leads to less than 30 points and less than 300 yards. If anyone here truly believes that JJ still deserves to be the starter at this point, then I hope you feel the same about Miles. Ironically, him and JJ are both doing just enough to keep their jobs, but not coming anywhere near bringing this program where it needs to be.

no, killer. the absolute worse thing that could've happened last night would have been if msu would have beat us by a score of 29-7.

we won. try to get more excited about a victory over an sec opponent who almost defeated a pretty damn good auburn team.

I agree. JJ is what he is. We have been watching virtually the same performance for parts of 3 seasons now. No progression, barely adequate at best when having a good game.

You can write cow on a pig all day and when you pull the tail it still goes oink.

Our D is what won the game last night, pure and simple.

Can we count on them to totally shut down the Ala, Fla, Ark?

We will need to find a way to score some points and I fear that JJ is just not the answer.

Winning a football game is never the absolute worse thing that can happen.

I'm pretty sure the worst thing that could have happened last night would be losing.

You need to accept reality. Lee is no more the answer than JJ. Doesn't mean I don't want Lee to play, but to expect a different result with Lee is nuts.

We simply don't have a solid QB on our roster.

I'm no jj fan but How much can be put on play calls?

Who is limiting who? We will not beat a quality team unless we stretch the field.

10 competitions
2 went for 7 yards
4 went for 5 yards or less
4 went for 15 yards or more

5 interceptions, less than 30 pts. Still not a 300 yard game for JJ. Still haven't played a good team. Still a fail. That's the truth, those of us who watch the games instead of getting so hammered that we just know to scream when the rest of the crowd is screaming know this.

personally, i don't think Miles should start; i think he's too old and his eligibility is probably expired.

there is no irony in the situation at all. perhaps a dictionery would help you. we still have 10 (or 11) games left to play. i like what i see so far and feel we have a good shot at winning 10 or more games this year. i predict this year and next year have the potential to be great years. great years is where i think the program needs to be. oh, i also think the program needs to graduate it's players and build character in the young men that represent my university. i don't want 20 arrested players like urban myers program.

Our average starting position was the 45 yard line!!! How many yards is a guy supposed to have when he only throws 16 times on a short field?

Not the best wording. We will need Lee before long. JJ knew he was under the gun, and actually played decent. He's not going to WOW you. Just a servicable guy. If we get behind, and we need someone to win a game(if its late), you might see Lee, but don't bet alot on that premise.
