Even with Auburn two years ago, it kind of made sense because Miles was dumb and decided to give Harris is first start ever on the road in the SEC... Going back to Florida in 2008, we were a paper team that got exposed as a mediocre team in every possible facet.

Is that the game Danny McCray tipped the ball to Harvin on that post route and they continued to beat our arse?

Yup... funnily enough, it was 17-7 at the half and then they bent us over for real in the 2nd half.

That Florida Team was much better than this state team. This state is a 9-3 state team. That Florida Team was freakishly good. Huge difference.

I can somewhat handle getting crushed by the eventual NC.

That Florida team was one of the all time great teams in college football. And LSU had a young QB who threw a lot of INTs. Totally different games and totally different feeling.

I'm talking from purely an LSU perspective though...

Remember, we were ranked as high as 5th I think going into that game after wins over Miss State and Auburn.

And then we went to Gainesville and were exposed.

And Brandon Spikes punted a ball to humiliate us even more.

People think the 2014 Auburn loss or 2008 UF loss were 111 years bad losses? Because that is how bad this MSU loss was - 111 years bad - as in worse ever between the two teams.

They were certainly a good team, but not one of the best. Just the week before destroying LSU they were beaten at home by Ole Miss

I was in attendance that night. One of the worst nights of my life.

When Brandon Spikes punted that ball, I wanted a tiger to break his fricking legs.

It didn't to me. I can see the offense nose diving but I didn't see an aranda D performing that way coming.
