Good stuff. I love that dude and next year he's gonna be the best 3-point shooter in the league, no question about it.

They were pimping your brother hard during the SEC tourney for his explosive elevation on his jumpers. Oh, and great first post.

great first post. Props to Stringer for being such a great team/program player.
Now... You got any inside info on JOB3's return?

You are a brave man. I would never read this board if I had a loved one on a team at LSU. There are some good people on here, but they get overshadowed by the dumbasses that talk trash behind the anonymity of a computer. Thanks for the good attitude, you're a better man than me.

Stringer is a 5'8" guy finding success at a high level in a sport not designed for people his size. I truly believe that if LSU can find any semblance of a post presense next year (i.e. help for JOB) then Stringer's shooting will be the key to making this offense very explosive.

I am the older brother of Andre Stringer and just wanted to give my appreciation for the people that post on this site and SouthOfSouth in particular,I never post but I eat, drink, sleep this team and my little brother and Im constantly wanting to find people talking about them SouthOfSouth's commentaries and previews and recaps have been something for me to look forward to, and I really appreciate it. Ive been on tigerdroppings everyday since my brother committed to LSU before his senior yr of high school and you guys have torn my brother down and brought him back up and torn him down again lol but I understand it completely because I played Division 1 basketball also so he has frustrated me at times to but I still get emotional thinking wow these people are talking about my lil brother all the hard work he and I put in during high school has paid off, he is playing major college basketball and he is a respectable SEC player coming up on 1000 pts 8th all-time in 3PT Fg made.

So you guys have never made me upset about any comments they are mostly honest and often times funny Im just glad he's in the position he's in and him and his team is being talked about. He's definitely not a perfect player but if you guys realized how hard this kid works and how badly he wants this team to win you couldnt imagine.

I have really enjoyed this season with the new coach and with you guys and hopefully next yr will be even better then this one, thanks again tigerdroppings posters and SouthOfSouth See you next yr.

Your brother is truly a hard working, dedicated young man. To me, he represents everything LSU basketball is about. Working hard, playing smart, and playing one game at a time.

I look forward to his play next season and I hope he can improve that three point percentage even more! Everyone needs a sharp shooter!

Tell Andre thanks for us. It's always an honor for LSU when a young player picks LSU as the place to play his ball.

Also, I hope you understand that as an open forum not every fan who post here is an LSU fan no matter the LSU in his ID.

Think JJ will do a good job for us.

Thanks for your message.

good post. he was probably one of our more reliable players this season. had a tough situation his freshman year having to play on the ball so much but he is settling in now in a more natural position at this level and a much better fit for what coach jones wants to do.

he will be a big reason why we will be successful next season.

edit - stick around and post man, the water's fine

And it's not hard to google around and see that Richmond had a 5'9" guard named Michael Stringer from Georgia where Andre was born.
