yea, these guys just tighten up when it becomes a halfcourt game. mostly because they really don't know what to do. all those points in the paint dried up when the transition opportunities went away. perimeter d faded as they started to get fatigued in the second half, probably a big reason why TQ and mickey missed those freebies. that fatigue plus the situation makes everything heavier. frick man, these guys were just locked the frick in for about 25 minutes or so.

It's not Martins fault that the other players don't look to give him the ball at times. It's not his fault that other players jack up stupid shots early in the shot clock. He "disappears" because other players don't look for him at times. He can't control how many touches he gets man. He needs someone to give him the ball so he can at least try to do something.

a lot of points came off missed baskets & FT's.
every time he tried to create himself, he missed. He took some bad jumpers.
Im not sure there really was a chance to create for him.

I just hope Martin can go to a decent team. I don't see him as a lottery pick, but hell what do I know. Not much, I tells ya.

Your NBA career will be short , so stay one more year and you might trick everyone as a lottery pick ... because this year your might not be 1st round.

Dude played hard, would love to have him back. Sad to see him go if he so chooses.

I don't think he goes in the lottery right now but he's going in the 1st and could sneak in the top 20. People forget how big of a crapshoot the NBA draft is.
And Martin is viewed as a late 1st round pick, but has a lot of potential, upside, and talent. He's a tweener, but in a good way. Mickey is a tweener but in a bad way. He's too short to play down low in the NBA and isn't skilled enough to play on the perimeter. Martin is the opposite. He's big enough to play down low, but has the skill and ability to play on the perimeter as well and is tough to matchup with. And even though he doesn't have good 3pt %s, he has a very good shot and touch. It's not like his shot is broke or whatever. He can shoot. And he will get better and better from distance each year.
Best comparison is Tobias Harris
