Agree. Business decision. How many here have had to make the decision on whether to risk injury and millions of dollars?

I agree as well. If I had an opportunity to make millions sitting in front of me I'd opt out too. Everyone on the team understands why.

It’s very clear how many people on this board have never made a business decision before.

He made a business decision to quit. How’s that? We’re allowed to have opinions about it. You don’t have to agree.

I hate this as much as you all but won’t talk negative about the young man. He bleeds purple and gold and will be #ForeverLSU.

I’m so confused by people that are acting personally attacked by this. Are you on the team or something?

I’m equally as confused with people such as yourself that obv is a fan enough of LSU football that iou spend your free time on a message board talking about it and not having The lease bit of a problem that one of your key players just says F it midseason and quits on everybody.

Probably a quitter Me type douche bag as well.

They don’t get it my friend. I guess it’s the new “progressive” attitude. No loyalty, no work ethic , no hang in when things are tough. Luckily I no longer spend my money on the product and I have in the past. I’m pretty close to being done with college football.

I haven’t watched a complete games worth of snaps this season.

If your better players can’t remain committed for the season and administrations are seemingly more concerned about the politics of social issues than running a competitive athletic department, what is the point in competing other than to generate revenue.

Why should I contribute a dime......and I don’t.

Does anyone actually blame Terrace for dipping out? What is the point in staying? Go get ready for the draft.

In 2 years when hopefully Covid is a memory are y’all OK with players opting out if the season isn’t going as hoped?

Better yet would everyone be ok with sophomores having a good season deciding to forgo their junior years becoming normal? I fear that COVID has presented a test run for guys like Chase to see how that affects their draft status. Some people need to be careful what they view as totally ok if they care at all about the sustainability of the college football model. And paying players won’t change much, because whatever that pay is, it will be less than what they can receive outside of college.

Maybe it turns college football more like college baseball and teams start looking for guys they can depend on being there for the long haul instead of focusing on the top 100 players.

Sir, this is a Wendy's. Also, his name is Terrace, not "Terrance". Can I take your order, please?

Then I guess no draft eligible players on teams not named Alabama, Clemson, OSU, Florida, A&M, or Notre Dame should be playing anymore this season.

I halfway agree with you

This is a shitshow of a season and the risk of injury is definitely to be considered

That said I’m sure some of his teammates feel let down, and definitely think it’s a selfish move

Then again you have to look out for yourself first, no one else will
