LSU is 2-2 against FBS teams so far this season.

I'm not part of the "fire Kelly" crowd, but this argument is stupid. So if we went 0-12 but had an elite offense along the way, you would be fine with that?

Think about it: LSU has had both starting corners be transfers for the last 2 seasons because there weren't any on the roster. THAT is where this program was at when Kelly took over.

ETA: Pretty sure it was announced that Ricks was transferring before Kelly was even hired

While this year leaves a lot to be desired the DBs Welch harris are going to be a billion times better now that they are getting time, weeks will be even better, perkins will hopefully improve and not sit out, the safeties will all be better now that they are actually getting some playing time

Because it takes all 3 phases of the game playing complimentary to each other to win consistently.
Our ST units last year was the worst i've ever seen at the college level, and we started off the season by dropping another punt.
Defense was struggling last year, and it's worse this year.
He can get his credit, but he gets credit for ALL of this.

All some people can understand are wins & losses. They're either very shallow or very inexperienced when it comes to evaluating football.
Unfortunately, we have to skim through their opinions & just shake our heads.
