Talked to several football coaches in TDA re Guice

When my buddy asked Coach Jonson about it, Guice never came to Omaha. Was allegedly a publicity stunt.
Might be the effects of the case of yuengling after the game last night, but if true it bothers me.

No one has a problem with a 20 year old posting pictures of the stadium, the field, and tickets "in Omaha", when he was actually in Baton Rouge at the Football Ops building?
He got all kinda of praise for being an awesome Tiger for traveling all that way to see the Tigers play. When he never left the west campus apartments?

Meh. I'm not personally really receptive to lying. Not mad but definitely not a really good look for Derrius.

Maybe he intended to go and couldn't. Maybe he wanted attention. Maybe he just wanted to show support for the baseball team. Even if he was lying it's about the most harmless lie I can imagine

I'm not bothered by the fact that he didn't come at all. I'm 39 years old and it strained my pockets for almost 2 weeks. I am more bothered by the fact that he lied and tried to make him look like he was better than the other 132 guys on the football roster. Got praise from dozens of people for being the ultimate tiger, when he was chillin on campus the whole time!

I don't care if he was or not. But if he wasn't, its not a good look for him. Not sure why he would say he was there if he wasn't
