It astounds me that the circular logic seems to go right past certain people. Here is a real life case study: the Dixie Chicks exercised their freedom to mouth off about politics. Country music fans exercised their freedom to stop buying their albums and tickets to their shows. That’s freedom - celebrate it. Absolutely no way am I obligated to root for an athlete or entertainer who is expressing an opinion that offends me. Period, end of story.

I’m shocked that women would be emotional. That’s so not like them.

you’re mad at them exercising their American right? Make it make sense.

What about our team? They weren’t even out there for the anthem. Omgzzzzz the disrespect!!!!!1111!!!

You are confused. The fact is they have the right to disrespect our country and those who have served and died to protect that right. But I also have the right to disagree and form the opinion that to do so means you don't deserve my respect. See we all have rights.

These 4 ladies represent progression instead of old American ways of suppression. Classy ladies and I wish them only the best going forward. They've exercised their 1st amendments rights and I applaud them. May their futures be brighter than yours. Don't be woke, wake up! The world is changing (good or bad) and there is nothing to stop it!

At the same time as applauding their use of the 1st amendment, you're condemning those that exercise their own 1st amendment right to say frick them. It's all a circle. And that's the point. The 1st amendment was instituted for people to speak their opinions freely without worry of penalty. Everyone was given that right. Problem is now only 1 side wants to be "free" to exercise this right. Anyone that disagrees should be censored. The Twitter files exposed(to those that didn't already know) that the govt(obviously the side you lean to) were actively using censorship to rob Americans of their 1st amendment rights. So sure be proud of these girls. Also be prepared to die on that hill you guys are standing atop.

What would you say to the LSU team leaving the court during the anthem and coming back on after? Because that's what happened.

I would say I’m glad I don’t give a shite about virtue signaling garbage quality womens basketball.

The woke calling the non-woke woke. Play 1 in the Democrat playbook. So I’m “woke” for believing we should all stand and show respect to the flag during the anthem? You keep tearing tradition down.... I won’t.
-----------------------------------------

Tradition? Your traditions are steeped in theft of land, slavery and killing of other cultures, and perpetual hate filled suppression even to include idiolizing a flag that doesn't include equal treatment of certain people. These traditions are faulty and historically evil.
