I'm a student at Bama but I am a die hard tiger fan. Me and about 10 friends are coming down for the game. Although I've been to several games I've never done the whole tailgating thing in Baton Rouge. I'm looking for suggestions on the best place to tailgate (will get there as early as needed). And maybe the best bar or club to watch the game at and hang out at later that night. TIA

I grew up in Zachary and the fam moved here just before I got to highschool. You can think what you want but I wish Alabama would lose every game they play

1. At corner of Highland and South Campus or Highland and South Stadium - tons of room - between Union and Ag Center.

2. Parade Grounds

3. Around Indian Mounds

4. Behind South Stadium

DON'T miss the team, Mike's cage, and the Band march down Victory Hill - probably about 1:00.

Chimes Bar and Grill - outside Gates on Highland
Walkons - Nicholson Ext
Pastime - Downtown

If you're coming from Zachary or anywhere north of campus, setup in the "soccer field" between Nicholson and the Natatorium. Plenty of free parking and the easiest way to get off campus without being stuck in traffic for hours. Also, get there before 8 am, because it will fill up fast since it's a day game.
