Hell they probably would encourage it since TBob is as liberal as ESPN.

His political views seem pretty scattered across the board.

T-Bob has whined and complained a lot since 1/20...but anti-trump is not synonymous with liberal

T-Bob and Hunt show.

I actually would give this a shot. Could be interesting banter, could be a shite show. Either way I'd tune in.

I've never heard them. What's his affiliation?

He leans far left. That's not my issue though. I don't give a shite about his opinions on political matters.

I became a listener of his show with Kristian Garrick because it was originally a sports show. I stopped listening because over the course of a year and a half or so (or however long it was on the air), the program lost its identity and couldn't figure out if it was focused on sports or politics.

I became a listener because I enjoyed listening to T-Bob talk about sports. I was alienated as a listener when he shifted gears and made it a political show.

I don't enjoy listening to political talk radio - right or left. I like sports talk and IMHO if you're a sports talk radio host please keep the discussion to the realm of sports.

This is one of the reasons I really enjoy the show on 104.5 from 3 to 6 (despite his referring to me and everyone who posts here as a "cesspool of negativity")... Because the host gets this and has even echoed my sentiments on the matter on-air. He keeps his show about sports.

I hope that for T-Bob's sake he learns this lesson, because he's not that bad when he's discussing sports.

Hopefully ESPN won't put up with him going on political rants on-air.

I like T-Bob, he is pretty damn good and definitely has a future in sports radio. He did himself a big favor by getting away from Deke Belevia. I agree he needs stop the politcal rants. I watch sports to get away from all of that politcal bullshite.

Tbob sucks. Hunt improved over his time on the show. I didn't like the guy at first but I find myself a little sad he's going to be leaving.

Of course the show was at its best when ponamsky was on.

Wow. I really appreciate all the kind words in this thread. This place was pretty rough in the early going. Glad I didn't continue to ruin mornings at that rate.

I'm going to start hanging out here a little bit. Didn't want to do it while still on the air every morning.

Y'all give T-Bob a shot. He's a really funny guy with a great perspective. He knows the football program and has done a great job with the Saints as well. Change is tough for everyone, especially in a morning routine. I think Jordy and T-Bob will pick up the chemistry they had on the old OTB, and both have been on the air thousands of hours since then. I'm excited to listen to them every morning.

Thank you all for tuning in over the last few months. It was fun.

Deke Belevia tends to get on my nerves after a while.

This really surprises me, as I've always gotten the impression that his dad leans to the right.

I know far more people that possess opposite views from their parents than akin to their parents dogmas.

Okay, interesting. You probably know a lot more people than I do. In my experience, from where I'm from, the kids grow up pretty thoroughly indoctrinated by the parents' political dogma. By the time they are adults of voting age, they are pretty much in line with their parents' views. It's really kind of sad.

The most pompous man I've ever heard on-air.

The guy is just so incredibly rude to callers it astounds me. You never know who is on the other end of that line and what they might be dealing with in life.

There were a couple times I heard people who obviously (at least to me) appeared to have some sort of mental/cognitive disability, and would call in and ask questions that most fans would consider dumb questions.

For them, being heard on the radio might be the highlight of their day, had Deke not treated them like crap and talked down to them. I've heard other hosts handle such calls with class, and the contrast really turned me off as a listener (relative to Deke).

My experience in the business, leads me to believe you'd be surprised.

Remember it's a Disney Company and they have interesting policies/procedures.

I agree totally. Belevia really is a pompous arse. His rudeness to callers is what I find extremely annoying. And I would be willing to bet that that is his true personality. I don't think he'd be that fun to sit down with and have a beer.
