You can go ahead and say it. Those that make the trip from Syracuse in 2017 will forever be changed....

I don't want to say they put our tailgates to shame, but LSU brought a certain spark to Syracuse on Saturday. Maybe it's sheer confidence in their team, or maybe it's how much extra time and effort they put into their parties.

What a cool article. So happy to see good things going on off the field as well as on.

Yeah, it's refreshing to hear these kind of stories from OOC opponents. Goes to show you that the SEC fans saying this are butthurt and full of envy

I haven't looked at Cuse's schedule but I hope they run the table. I will be pulling for them. Feisty team, good coaching, nice people.

One thing became clear right away. To LSU fans, college football is a religion, and on Saturday morning, they took me to church.

some times i can't believe that people don't have any idea who the f--- we are.
i just figured by now what with the internet and all, our unparalleled tailgating prowess would just be a universal truth.

Yes, I'm "Basinger" in the article....she did a great job with the write-up. The elk sausage was from a buddy who killed it in Montana....we had both, Manda's and elk sausage...it was her only slip up. The Syracuse fans were great before and after the game.

Gonna add my perspective on the tailgating. Noon start makes it tough but my LA padnahs brought up red snapper (aren’t they endangered?), hogs head cheese, boudin, crawfish and we had gumbo, we cooked it up and had more food than we could eat in 2 days. So we shared w/ the Syracuse fans in skytop. They loved the food and they even brought over some grilled moose (moose is really tasty, very close to beef) to share w/ us. The Syracuse fans were really hospitable friendly and nice to be around. They knew what the outcome was gonna be so they just sat back and enjoyed the show.
Best tailgate I saw wasn’t ours but the Cajun from Ville Platte who works in PA who had a couple of hundred pounds of shrimp sent up and boiled them before the game – he shared them all around and they were great. For someone who doesn’t get to shrimp or crawfish boils in the great white north they brought back a ton of memories.

So did anyone hear if we drank them dry or not?
