Neck started in 2006 because I remember my annoying date that wouldn't shut up about it. They had banned Tiger Rag that year because of vulgarities and we didn't quite know what to do about it, so the SS started making other things vulgar because "frick you admins". It started with "oh we oh, you suck" and it peaked with oh we oh, you suck cocks, which got that song banned for a while. We then moved on to the claps with "frick you ___" and by early in 2007, we had come up with STTDB. I think that was the pinnacle of vulgarity, but the SS has kept it up and, sadly, tiger rag never came back.

You obviously haven't been to tiger stadium in the last 3years. They brought it back in 2013 against Arkansas and they've played it after every extra point since.

Neck is a great song and very few songs get the entire stadium pumped up and keep them that way for any duration. It's a shame the ss screwed that up. And it's not going to go away anytime soon... the bars play it and they chant it in the bars too.

I remember I was in tiger band in 2010 and that my dad and his friend came in for a game (we live out of state). After the game my dad's friend said "what song was it that they were saying STTDB?" and that was the first I had heard of it. I think it was 2011 where it started getting really bad because we kinda just stopped playing it about halfway through the year. We played it once at the national championship game but that was for a sound check before fans were in the stadium.
Also, oh-wee-oh has come and gone a couple times. My freshman year (2008) we started off not playing it and then it came back midway through the year and lasted about 2 and a half years, then it left again at the end of the year and came back in 2013.
I'm not sure when Tiger Rag got banned. I think they banned it in 2002ish and brought it back in 2006ish only for it to get banned again in 2007ish. They brought it back for the Arkansas game in 2013 and to my knowledge its still there.
