BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
It doesn't appear any charges are ready to be filed against the four LSU players implicated in a fight outside a bar early Friday morning.

Jordan Jefferson, Jarvis Landry, Josh Johns, Chris Davenport and their attorney met with investigators of the Baton Rouge Police Department for a few hours Tuesday morning.

The four players answered questions concerning a brawl outside Shady's bar, which is near the campus. Four people were injured in the fight.

According to attorney Nathan Fisher, all of the players cried once they realized the new spotlight they are now in.

"There are no arrest warrants," Fisher said. "There were no suggestions that you have to turn yourself in later out of the pervue of the press. We said what we had to say, did what we had to do, gave some evidence that we had to give, that we were prepared to give on such short notice. We will still continue to investigate, as I'm sure the police will continue to investigate."

Sgt. Don Stone with BRPD confirmed there is video of the fight, but it is limited.

He gave no further details.

The meeting took place at the Baton Rouge Police Department Violent Crimes Unit, which is located within the Louisiana State Police Headquarters.

Last thing on WAFB website.

May be, may not be. But not likely is erroneous.

If you knew what you were talking about, then you would know the difference bewteen "involved" and "accused".

But in reality, you are a dumbass who believes that everyone who needs legal counsel is "involved" in something they were "accused" of.

I called you an a-hole specifically, the others have simply been inferred. Your level of vociferous protest has not been in any way, shape, or form evenly divided for the "players" or the "victims" as it were. Your intentions are transparent. If the players were and are guilty of an animalistic attack with no provocation of course they should be prosecuted, but thus far we have only heresay and anonymous eyewitness accounts over the internet. It is too early to push either side and if you were impartial you would realize this.

I love all the ad hominem attacks for no reason whatsoever. Where did the police accuse any player? All that has been said by the media is that they were involved.

Your argument has no merit.

Has ANYONE denied that the players in question were "involved" in the incident? If this is the only agenda you are pushing and no one is pushing back, why are you still posting?

I'm not saying there won't be charges, but there are just as many people who believe 100% of what the "victims" (aka the guys who got the shite beat out of them) say as fact. The actual truth probably lies somewhere in the middle, which means it was your standard bar fight. Don't believe the cops should have been called if that's the case, very doubtful charges would be pressed if this were a couple of frat guys outside of any of the BR bars.

You really are a transparent douchebag who has no idea whatsoever what you are talking about.

Ok, let me break it down to you.....

You assumed that JJ was "involved", whenever in actuality his name was being brought up as "accused" of being involved and maybe even kicking someone in the head> It was known his name was out there friday. That, my friend is an accusation. I never said the police accused him of anything, but the speculation prompted him to get legal counsel, not necessarily his involvement.

Can you grasp this concept???

For what reason? Because you know me personally? Because it enhances the validity of your argument?

All I have said is that JJ was "involved."

Involved:

1.
very intricate or complex: an involved reply.

2.
implicated: involved in crime.

3.
concerned in some affair, especially in a way likely to cause danger or unpleasantness: I didn't call the police because I didn't want to get involved.

4.
committed or engaged, as in a political cause or artistic movement: The civil rights demonstration attracted the involved young people of the area.

Is this not true? By all media accounts, JJ was "involved." I just called into question the validity of a off-beat news report.

I made no accusations as to guilt or innocence.

I agree.

I do. I am just saying it's not like JJ was at home, asleep in his bed when the fight went down. There are several accounts of him being at the scence. There are varying accounts of his participation in the fisticuffs. His implication has necessarily involved him in the situation. As a side note, I added that I don't think that an innocent bystander would actively seek cousel in such a situation unless he thought he needed it for some reason.
