I could see Lee progressing and getting better each game this year. Why mess with his mind by sticking Jefferson back in there? Lee has as many TDs now as Jefferson threw all season last year. I don't see it.

I understand what you are saying. But les knows that we are 1 play away from having Mett with no BIG game experience. He knows that Jefferson is battle tested and wanted to get his first play out of the way. What better play than a QB sneak for a touchdown. Lee embraced Jefferson on the sideline as did many other players. Florida just lost Brantley , now they have to rely on a freshman. Les knows what he is doing!!!

LSU is Number 1.
We have a GREAT DEFENSE and SPECIAL TEAMS.
We have a solid Running game.
We have a manageable passing game.
And WE have 2 Solid Gifted quarterbacks!!! Go Lee and Jefferson!!!

It was not a bad decision. We scored a touchdown. Lee actually wanted Jefferson in the game. The players were all for it. The coaches were all for it. And we scored. The players rallied around Jefferson including Lee. Les Miles knew what he was doing.
Les Miles is he BEST coach in the country and because of him, top ranked recruits will continue to sign with LSU.
It was a GREAT decision to utilize one of the 2 gifted quarterbacks,
