so whats the story with the lady ? how did she get the watches ?

She recently inherited the entire estate and didn't even know the watches or cuff links existed. The estate company found them in a box. They believe the lady who died inherited from her father, who was a garage sale/auction shopper back in the day.

Dr Strange was very impressed with my knowledge of some history of LSU football (I actually put my foot in my mouth when I told him I didn't know "Pop" played for LSU )

I hope I didn't show disrespect to him by telling him his family is the 2nd most important family in LSU football history behind the Kinchen family.

I didn't even ask if they were stolen from their house or his office, etc. They don't think it was the deseased lady's father. They have no idea.

Antique, great effort and I'm sure it's appreciated greatly by Dr Strange and the entire Strange family.

Man, you did a good thing. I don't know if another porson would have tried so hard to return those watches to the rightful owners. Cheers to you.

Your reward is in heaven. It's great to see honesty still exists in this day and age.

I just looked it up, I never realized it was spelled loupe.

I was told by an old man to learn as much as you can before you turn 40, because after 40, every time you learn something new, you forget two things.

So thanks, I am 40, so now I don't remember my two daughters' names!!!

That's great that 'Pops' belongings are getting returned to his family, but what about the money you spent to acquire the items?

Do you get that back?

Let's just hope none of your collection ever gets stolen! I take collecting serious as well, & would be devastated if I ever lost my collection of memorabilia.
