4.2 yards per carry... watched the replay last night and his first two carries came close to the second quarter, if i'm not mistaken, and both were close to 10 yards. Let the best recruit in the nation be the man and give him the ball!!!

He could put up Jeremy Hill type number if he was getting the ball 20-25 times like Jeremy Hill did.

I don't know how much tape you have seen, but the guy can catch too. I'm pretty sure he caught a ball out of the backfield and housed it in the All American game. It blows my mind why we can't do this. They check down to a running back in the pros all the time. If they can do it there then we should be able to do it in college.

We need a similar RB rotation as last year, with Fournette getting Hill's carry load. Magee seems to be better for the change of pace guy and is pretty good at picking up blitzes and pass rushers on 3rd down.

Fournette needs 50% of the carries. Period. He has looked like the best back on our team.

Fournette has gotten plenty of touches; if anyone says they're not disappointed in his production so far, they're lying.

LF has a higher ypc than Adrian Peterson did his true freshman year.

If we do that on anything other than a screen, which we cant run, Harris or Jennings will get killed. Seriously, we cant block anybody. We had seven blocking four the other night and still had to bail. Do the math, that is 3 people in a route tree and SEVEN to cover them and we still cant keep the QB from panicking because our coverage is so poor.

Terrence Magee may be our best blocker, anywhere.

Of all the bitching about Miles this is the one gripe i am 100% behind.

Its insane. LF is clearly the best RB on the team, and he isn't even getting double digit carries half the time.

I feel like we have packed it in for the season.

Help out the seniors as much as you can, and get the freshmen a few snaps here and there.

It sucks.

I just don't get it.

Have te coaches not noticed BY NOW 4 GAMES IN and ALL OFFSEASON that Fournette is just physically gifted and our best RB. Why does he not start by now? Why didn't he play till the 4th series?

Is he in the doghouse? Seriously, if Fournette commit to any other school other than LSU, I'm 100% sure they wouldn't have figure out he's the best and just feed him the ball.

Because Miles wants to save some tread. The fact the kid got carries early and started the season as the KOR man says loads of how much Miles likes and trusts him. And his inexperience and need to adjust to the speed of the game was apparent in his early outings.

Having said that, he will be the every down back in 2015 and 2016, and Williams will be more of a short yardage back - essentially after Hilliard and Magee graduate, our "elder" running backs will be Thunder (Fournette) and More fricking Thunder (Williams), with Guice coming in to provide a legitimate change up.

Which back starts is totally irrelevant. It is situational. Probably Saturday they wanted the experienced senior in the game to start to offer senior support to Brandon Harris stating his first game an don the road.

This makes sense, because in reality the "mad hatter" plays scared and holds his team back.

He's only going to be here for 3 years anyway, and we are nearly half way to wasting the first one.

Youre stupid. How much does it hurt your count that Miles is the winningest coach ever at LSU

He's going to be the guy in 2015 and 2016, period. I don't know any other way of explaining it to you.

We were like 0-13 on 3rd down. That may have something to do with it.

How many offensive plays did we even run?

LF is currently 49th in the FBS in yds/carry, and 1 of only 5 Freshman in the top 50, which given all the factors, is pretty fricking great.

Esp considering the teams that don't play anybody that always pollute the team/player stats.
