There is a reason ESPN and others are looking at the SEC scheduling and saying

If you want to bend over and say do it again, go ahead.

Mickey Mouse and his fricken board room strategy sessions. Its all about building up buzz and controversy in a strategically calendared fashion...

What I am sayin is that it was not the schedule we played or BAMA played the last two years that cost us BCS titles. It was the inability to beat Only 1 team on our schedule, BAMA. And there was only 1 team on BAMA's schedule that could have kept them from being BCS champs, and that was LSU. They beat the BEST team on their schedule in 11' and 12', and in their back yard. We did not do the same. Had we done that, how many threads about the scheduling do you think we would find onTB? Espn is trying to appease the BAMA and Nick jock sniffing reputation that we and other fan bases accuse them of.

Except when LSU beat BAMA at BAMA and BAMA was given a redo.

Well, I DO love the fact that ESPN used the Geaux Font LSU logo without the "Driving Cat" head attached to it.

losing record vs top 10 teams over a 5 year span
Which is perfectly acceptable and fine for the "See, Hear and Speak No Evil Masses of Asses" that inhabit that dark realm where Sunshine has to be forcefully Pumped in.

The other part of it though is it seems we've played 13 top 10 games sine '07 and they've played 12. Not as big of a difference as I would have thought.

(Don't get me wrong. I totally agree we are getting screwed in conference scheduling. That's pretty clear. It's just that particular stat doesn't really help our argument. Of course it could be that their "top 10" teams were really overrated out of conference teams but on it's face the stat doesn't support our argument).

Alabama
LSU(4) ARKANSAS UF UGA AUBURN from 2007-2012

LSU
ALABAMA(5) AUBURN(2) UGA UF(3) ARKANSAS USCe

These were all SCHEDULED SEC games. We are talking about scheduled games here not how their easy schedule got them to face four other SEC teams.

They beat us for the 2011 BCS title. And I know the redo thing is coming. They got a redo, so all we had to do was redo also and win. The redo argument holds some, not much, water, in a controversial call 1 point victory for them. But a 21-0 pasting, making what appeared to be minimal game plan changes from a 9-6 game that came down to OT, that argument is out the window. I thought BAMA made really only two changes, covered the option and pulled Mathieu out of the box wher he is a playmaker and diminished his impact by reducing him to a marginally ineffective coverage man. But it's the little things like that that made all the difference that night.

Losing record vs top 10 teams since 2007? Embarrassing.

This is exactly why the SEC needs to give us an easier schedule! It's not fair.

They don't really love Alabama. They wanted the mulligan to blow up the system. That graphic is pretty good.

So Alabama has played twelve games against top 10 SEC opponents during Saban's tenure, and lsu has had to play thirteen? So unfair.

Sure. Well if you take out Saban's first two years at Bama.

It helps that they've played in 3 national championship games.
