What is up with these two year deals? Coach O has a two year deal as well. Plus the Les Miles Clauses.

Due to the fact that we're saving 300k, I fully expect the AD to reduce parking fees for this season.

O ate up the 300K plus an extra 100 for good measure

expect parking fees to increase by at least 25%

Yeah. It sure feels like Alleva is saying, "I'm not sold that you're going to turn this back around Miles......."

Miles may only have 2 years of 8-5 seasons left

No need for the fee increase. Chavis owes us $400,000. We good.

yeah, if the rumors of this clause and the apparent sticking point are true, Miles has pissed someone off.

Nah, we don't write the contracts or print the checks.

I personally like the pressure it seems to put on Miles. The trend has been down and his words carry less weight than in his first 5 yrs.

Miles said that last year's class would put us in position to "compete for multiple championships". It's time to put up or shut up.

Even though I'm no longer a Miles cheerleader, I'm pulling for him because he coaches my school's team. And I want to win championships. If he can't get us a legit shot in the next two years w the talent we have then it's time to find someone who can.

I honestly think Miles is planning to retire in two years. Orgeron and Steele both have the two year deals. Chavis was offered three years with the "Miles Clause" included. LSU was willing to remove the clause if he also would sign a two year contract. I just think Les is planning to retire after the 2016 regardless.
